We are in Egypt and doing all the obvious touristy attractions things that one does while visiting Egypt. But we decided to add everything Egypt has to offer into the ultimate experience, we booked a five day cruise up the Nile on a Dahabiya named the Minya.

Yes we did tip the crew. They really go up and beyond to make everyone happy and they provide first class service that we wanted to show our gratitude as well.

Hello Kimmy Queen, great question. I’m sure there is a price to stay on the dahabiya privately but we got lucky and had the opportunity to have the Minya to ourselves because we took our trip as soon as the country reopened after covid and tourism was just starting back up again. I hope you have an opportunity to sail on one of these amazing boats. It was definitely an amazing experience, Cheers.
