Romanesco is really nice mix between cauliflower and broccoli, we get it from our local veg shop here in Dorset.
Cheers for video thanks 👋
Thanks for watching!
@@duncanponter1946hi Duncan we just met you at Edinburgh Airport arrivals recognised you on the flight back as we were disembarking the plane :) great videos keep em coming m8 👋 hasta luego 😎
Graeme & Christina ( Edinburgh) born in Glasvegas tho 😃🇪🇸
@ Brilliant Graeme, it was good to, (briefly), meet you. Were you out there on holiday, do you have a place there? I’ll mention you both on my next video. Enjoy Christmas and New Year.
Hi Duncan
Brill pal thanks :)
We have a place in a gated community in an area called Playa Flamenca appox 15 min drive south of Torrevieja.
Yes so we spent 2 full months there for the first time ever ☀️👌previously we were able to get away at set times due to family / work commitments which has now changed thankfully :) so we hope to do the same again next year mid oct 8 weeks and another month between jan - March to make most of the 90 day rule ( not decided as yet on what month ) everyone says feb is worst but I suppose it’s just your Donald Duck weather wise 🤷♂️ we both loved it sitting out in the sun most afternoons in December very pleasant 18c av really feels like a real bonus compared to the weather back home this time of year. We too would be interested to hear your experience applying and obtaining a NLV non working visa (we seen from your previous videos you done it all yourself Bueno contigo 👏 ) just started to do some research looks like you require a fair bit of savings per month or lump in the bank as proof you can survive in Spain unassisted by any govt financial help and it’s a believe 1 year visa initially then reapply for year 2-3 not 100% hopefully you can cover this as good to hear from someone who’s went through the process( we would both be looking for a NLV ) with the aim to gaining permanent residency after 5 years of living in Spain is that correct ? thanks for reaching out and for the shout out on your next video we will be watching as always thanks again m8
hasta luego 😎🏴🇪🇸👋
It's not just about the actual temperature. When that sun is on you at only fifteen degrees, it can easily be a shirt off job.
@@vic6820 “Taps aff” weather, as we say in Glasgow.
We made an unexpected appearance at the Churros stall 😂
It's a small world indeed. 😁
@duncanponter1946 but a lovely part of Spain 🇪🇸
Hi Duncan, Great video, really like the content, looks like one of your biggest fans made an appearance just before the end @24:11 in the video, looking to join you and all the expats living in Spain in 2025 ;-)
@@peterh7066 Thanks for watching. I only noticed him when I played back the video. 😂😂 All the best with your move, I’ll be doing some step-by-step videos of how we did it after the festive period.
the veg and fruit in murica is the best...
Murcia .
Romanesco cauliflower. Very sought after in high end English restaurant kitchens. Our house is just at the end of the market👍
@@jbroughtoncatering cheers Jay. That’s brilliant, thanks for watching and for answering my question. Thank you.
Duncan, could you please make a video about the full process (the ins, outs & needs) of obtaining a visa, for those like you who want to flee the UK & live in Spain.
Since Brexit, we mostly hear how many Brits are returning because of not having the required visa & I personally wonder what stops them from obtaining one.
@@keepitreal1547 Thanks for watching. I’ll do that video after the festive period. All the best.
@duncanponter1946
Thank you 👍
What is stopping them is money money money 💰 lots of it prove it 36 k first year for a couple ,year 2/3 72 k and of course you can’t work ! Year 4/5 72 k again and can’t work plus private medical if under pension age ! So keep 72 in bank on year 2/3 can’t work so how do we live if we can’t spend it ? Pensions do count but that’s is no were near the 72 to prove on bank statements and of course we’re did you get that money is another question ! CRAZY 😜
Brixton in London, churros con chocolate. £6.50 for 4, in your area, 6 euros for 18🤣
All the more to share. 😂
It is getting better. I am in Leicester Square on Central London. Small Christmas Market. £11 for 6 chocolate churros!!!!

It's like anything that is extortionately over priced, as long as there are mugs buying at such prices, the prices remain. I blame those buying, as much as the vendors.
