Hull sprayed.... eeek. That’s not good news. But then dark GPR can fade. Alas the commentator doesn’t know much about Swans: it’s a teak deck - not ‘wood’; and he goes gooey about the stem-head and anchor fittings but they’re standard Nautor. Nautors are, after all, the Bentleys of the sea.
Beautiful boat, but I guess we all have our own idea of a well laid out cockpit... That split up cockpit seems goofy to me, like they tried to combine the features of a center and aft cockpit boat ;(
It's set up that way for racing. Not cruising. Keeps the working crew away from companionway hatch and hatch dry.
Brian, you likely don't find it appealing as you are probably accustomed to coastal cruisers, whereas this vessel is an offshore yacht. If you take a hard knockdown and the cockpit fills with water, it won't get into the cabin as the companionway is located in the beamiest part of the boat with a substantial bridgedeck. You should probably stick to the Catalina's; I'll take the Swan. What is tragic is the salesman in the video, who is obviously not a knowledgeable sailor.
