Everytime when i watch a cooking video i always get hungry and i decide to get a snack when i realize the fridge is empty or there's nothing to eat.
It’s very easy to make just get egg whites and powdered sugar and whisk until fluffy and then make your usual pancake mix and just add the whisked egg whites in and then cook them that’s it really

I've tried this souffle many times here in Korea, mostly in coffee shops. It is very fluffy and goes great with syrup. However, since it's so thick, the middle is pretty much uncooked and tastes just like the egg white after mixing into foam, which is the main ingredient for its fluffiness. So you'd pretty much be full after just one, not because of the size but because you'd be bloated 😂 That's why my husband likes to call it the "uncooked pancake"

This kind of dessert is very low on sugar really, and very light. The egg whites makes up most of its volume and the texture is very soft. It'll just melt in your mouth :D

One say I said to my mother “Hey mom can you make me a souffle” She said no since She said it sounded like She would have to spent a lot of money and She couldn’t do it (Also because it sounded like it has a lot of sugar) I agreed and left to my room, After a little while en after she went to work I went to the kitchen to make myself a Suffle and also made one for my mother I was happy because they looked delicious. When my mother came back from work I told her that i made Her a souffle at first looked disgusted and didn’t want to eat, I insisted and she ate it, her expression was so happy that she continued eating, Now i’m the one who cooks the breakfasts.

The fact that “soufflé” is a french word to start with and the place is called Tokyo souffle but the title is korean dessert just confused me a lil😅

This type of pancake originated in Japan as "soufflé pancake" because the texture is airy and eggy, kind of like a soufflé.

@@beambaapol first is definitely the actual soufflé and then someone decided to apply that technique to making pancakes. No idea who actually invented it but it's been popular in Japan for a few years now so I assume the Korean shop is called like that to brand themselves as doing Japanese style soufflé pancakes.

How do i make it...help
Shirayuki Hime normal pancake mix add a little baking powder, could help. But the important part is whipping the egg whites with powdered sugar until peaks form and the mix doesn’t seem to be affected by gravity. Add the whipped egg mixture to the pancake batter and gently mix the two. Use a pan on low medium heat with a little oil or butter, and like the video shows cook one side and then flip and put something on top(another pan or something heat resistant) so it cooks in the center and yeah that’s pretty much it i think
