@VirginiaPetry2012 I just think that's Rivers way of making this song his own. It really puts a different spin on things, and I like that. Of course, I DO consider Nimrod Green Day's best album by far, so they'll always have the upper hand.
I miss Mikes bassline a bit, but overall, I prefer this to the original. The original never did much for me - I always wished they played it at more of an Insomniac sort of tempo. IVWGI Green Day albums after American idiot are kinda bad while Weezer has put out 2 great albums in the past decade. Green Day is pretty good but lately they’ve been shit especially with their newest album Father Of All. That was just unbearable garbage with no originality. We can only wait and see how Van Weezer will sound but Weezer has been better than Green Day this whole decade
