Currently, my one day off. I have time to myself with dinner, a glass of wine, and Gabe with Wade playing a beautiful course that I've never seen before. Add to that, Gabe debuting a new golf channel! What an enjoyable evening. It really made my day! Thanks Gabe and Wade.

Been a while since Wade has been on the show. Nice to see him there again. Nice looking course. A bit pricey but maybe one to test out eventually when I come down to visit the folks.
Wade is the best! Def one to try if you get the chance. It gets a bit more affordable in the summer months.
@@letsplaythrutravel Yeah but my Pacific Northwestern Tookus probably would pass out from humidity. It would be like you coming up and playing Chambers Bay the other day. It was 48 degrees at my tee time but it warmed up to a balmy 53 by the time I was done. Great day for golf.

Thanks for the reply Gabe. Always appreciated. Think the format is great. Perhaps you could do a little video of the immediate area of the course and what the area looks like. So we would feel like a visitor too. Absolutely believe minimum of 9 holes would be watchable time frame. Plus, as I said, just nice to see the sun. Really hope the channel catches on and you get good subscriber numbers.
@@letsplaythrutravel I think a good Idea would be a front 9 video and a back 9 video. That way you could make the videos a little longer. You could also switch some things up If you wanted to between the front and back

First! Great video Gabe! Living in Arizona we have our fair share of great courses.. but I'll have to admit that I'm a little jealous that your courses all just seem so green and natural. It's hit/miss here depending on the season. Half the year everything's all burnt out and yellow. 😖
Serious question, do you guys have over seeding seasons like we do? Example, they plant summer seed that attempts to live in 115° weather. Then they re plant winter seed that can withstand 35° cold. And in prime season, the courses quadruple fees to cover multiple seedings and extra maintenance. They literally go from $40/round to $200 overnight . We used to live in Monterey, CA and because of the fantastic consistent weather, there weren't really any price hikes because maintenance was so low. It sounds crazy but golf in Monterey was much cheaper year-round than here in AZ and the local courses were SO nice! (Not including Pebble. Thats a whole other level and i never got to play there 😢)
Hey Stu, yes many of the better, more prestigious courses will overseed with Rye in the winter. My home club does not, and it can get a little thin. Rates are always up here in the winter because of the snowbirds they come down after Easter thankfully. But then the humidity sets in! 😮
@@letsplaythrutravel oh yes.. forgot about the snowbirds. We have them too. They're a peculiar flock aren't they? They're also a contributing factor to our car insurance rates 🤦🏼♂️

It’s hard to pick a favourite, they were all incredibly kept with amazing views and scenery, but if I had to pick one or two, I’d say FLC in Ha Long just for the incredible views of the bay and Kings Island outside Hanoi because I’ve never taken a boat to play golf.
Amazing trip, Asia takes golf to a whole new level than what I, also a mere mortal, am use too.
Love the inaugural video. Can't wait to see more. If you ever make it up to the very end of (I'll call it the beginning 😁) of I-75, it would be awesome to have you check out the courses up here. The casino that I work at has two championship style courses that are a steal! We host the girls every year on the Epson tour in June.

I live close to there in Fort Myers. I’ve played there twice & that course is a BEAST! I love Hyatt’s Raptor Bay right down the road. There’s a few other gems in the area.
