This guy is the best personality in golf UA-cam.
That’s why he was voted Lithuanias top UA-cam golfer 10 years in a row
You misspelled ‘only’
Need him to come play Ron Chopper! He’s just a good playa out of luck
He is the only personality in UA-cam Golf!! Waddaplaya!!!🎉
The only real personality. The others are trying to put on a show. This is big budget movie making. The others are straight to video………..
I laughed so hard when you just holed the 56😂 BOSS!
The landing area shape at 6:30 . LOL!
That's how you play big dick golf as a high handicapper.
I am sure that was planned 😂🤣😂🤣
missed opportunity to show the ball from the tip to the hole
I came down here to look for this and say that it had to have been 100% planned. Then again, I'm the living embodiment of Butthead, so...
I seen that too
As many middle aged golf nuts, I've watched many videos from different 'tubers'. But none IMHO really discuss course management - it's all about golf equipment or swing mechanics. When in fact what you show us is how to think about the course, see the opportunities and understand your best approach is the way to improve your score better. You've helped me think deeply and properly about my game and how to use my modest skills to improve my scores and enjoyment of golf. Thank you. Keep up the excellent content. And I tell all my friends to watch you.
I completely agree! I've literally dropped 10 to 15 strokes from my game by LISTENING to what Boss-man says!!!
These videos are golden. Your swing and feels will come and go. You need to make sure you’re adapting your strategy along the way, otherwise you’ll keep expecting yourself to do shot’s you simply can’t do. Eradicating unnecessary errors are the fastest way to get better at golf.
I’m also preaching the Gospel of Matty
"when you miss 14 greens a round", I appreciate your faith in my golf game, I'm looking more like missing 18 greens a round
the composure after that chip in shows why you are the #1 Lithuanian golf youtuber
He's Lithuanian?
@@eoinm575850% south african 50% lithuanian 30% thai
He’s South African
Not a South African’t
hes the only one
I gained so much confidentialism after watching your video. Thank you!
Matty boom boom, could you a video on how to approach getting distracted, or playing after getting flustered, maybe emotions from outside of golf, weird interaction with someone then having to swing, idk stuff like that. If that sounds dumb, then nevermind lol.
Not dumb at all. A mental video about how to deal with life stuff and still hitting good golf shots would be awesome.
Good idea. I’ll try
Asking for Scottie Sheffler...
Sounds great, also playing first tees for beginners
21:45 "Now of course everyone wants my distance, and my direction and aim...even me."
I make myself jealous
My wife would say “your so full of yourself”! 😅
Thanks Matt. When I'm playing I'm beginning to hear your advice whispering in my ear😁.
Can you feel the gentle caress of the whisper
I think “ titties to the target” evrytime I chip
Perfect timing just finished the bbq now chill with a beer and a video from the boas
I loved this.. entertaining and really helpful for a 77 yo woman who does not have a great long game. Thx
Most of the time, I don't worry about the score. I just play what I envision to be the best shots and take the bogeys and double bogeys, even triple bogeys as they come. This gives me many insights on what to do and not to do. Over time, my scores got better, my techniques got better. I also play more on Pitch & Putt courses to improve the short game. I feel the driving range is only good for warming up, correcting flaws and fine tuning. Then again, hitting off a mat is not realistic. No sure if any of you do the same thing.
This strategy on par 3’s has given me more confidentiality and as result shaved a few strokes off my handi.
If I keep my chips low can I get “clean’ ho.
Thanks Baus
I've been playing golf for 42 years and always learn something from you Matty, you're a total Baus!!
Thank you so much for your tutorials! You have helped so much in the mental aspects of the game, not to mention technique.
So much great information for the mid to high handicapper! Love the channel.
Love the way you explain the strategy/logic. Love your videos.
Just want to say I love your approach to golf. Playing it safe is a good mindset to have especially as a beginner. I implemented some of your tips today and hit more birdies and pars today than I normally do thanks!
One of the best golf channels on UA-cam.. Breaks it down and makes it look simple.. And very funny definitely love a round of golf with this gezzer 😂
I absolutely love your videos. I like how you walk us through the holes and give us strategies. Strategies that are good for every handicap. Since starting to follow you I've now totally changed the way I practice and play. Keep them coming.
one of you best video. compelling and straightforward. congrats.
Nice one Matty BB ... I'm going to take an extra club because I've been having a lot of soya milk in my coffee and I ate too much tofu last night. High quality life advice. Bob Rotella would be proud.
That female influencer comment had me dying lolol
Hello Matt. Your advice is dead right. I like the way you pronounce the word DISTANCE. 😂😂😂
Thanks for making these videos. They’re really helpful
Black belt in No Can Do.. How funny. The one liners you have are the best
Another great video - have been watching your game improve also over past couple years. Common.sense.Sidekick.Golf ...
Id like to see another putting video? Got some baus advice on best practices for bringing the putts in?
Incredible Coach! After my 2 last rounds of 84 & 83, shaved almost 8 strokes on the same course, aiming towards the back of the green, 23 putts and my buddies laughed after dunking 2 chips and yelling NINJA!!! Oh and I had forgotten my drive at home...Confidential!
Since watching your vids my confidentiality has boosted. You have made golf fun for me. Chur Matty Boom Boom 💥
Best UA-cam golfer. Videos are so funny and interesting to watch
I just love your videos. Thanks 😍
Awesome stuff really makes the game so much easier with proper course management. I almost always miss in the worst spots and end up in trouble.
Golf education at its finest! And wadda shape when illustrating the green at 06:25 😂
You are 1 of my 2 favorite youtube golfers and you mentioned my other. Grant Horvat......I'd LOVE to see a collaboration between the two of you!!!! Before I play a round....I always watch your vids and try to gather your whispers to take on the course with me. You boost my confidentiality 😊
Brilliant insights, love your videos Matty Boom Boom
Love that putter! Feedback looks real!
best course management vids on youtube.
Such good advice. Unfortunately, I already practice this smart strategy, so now I just need to get better at ball striking. 😊
I enjoyed this. Thank you sir.
I want to know were I can buy the stuff you have on your nose? I am not a playa but I can look like one.
It’s a pore strip
What stuff on my nose?
I wanna know where he buys the stuff he puts up his nose
Camera loves the two-tone high-contrast ball on the greens. Easy to watch, good idea.
Best videos that actually help amateur golfers.
Marty boom boom dropping knowledge bombs me boi
"Matty"😁
A black belt in nocando 😂 loved that
Another great video. I think this I what a majority of players don’t understand
Changed my game so much for the better, not hitting the ball better with longer clubs but I've learned I dont need to, place the ball better and play my good clubs more often from better position
If you struggle with long irons...take a 3 iron only to the range and learn to hit it. All the other irons will feel like wedges! In my youth I struggled to hit anything longer than a 7 iron. In my case I grabbed a 2 iron and hit it until I could draw or fade with it at will...now the longer irons are my favorite clubs. Try it.

Glad you liked that one Barry
This guys shows and proves how much of this game is in your head. 👌🏻
Great video………keep up the good work 😃
I'm new to golf. I'm not a natural. I love these videos. Thank you so much for making the sport approachable. Your humor is top teir.
Nobody is a natural don’t worry. Just keep playing then you look like a natural
Great mental thought processes,
More importantly where in the world is that gorgeous golf course. Rolling hills, stunning greenery and bright blue sky. Is it near the sea? Do you have an NHS level health programme. I feel the urge to move to warmth.
You’ve recruited me into you religion of confidentiality 🙌🏼 Awesome lesson 😊
2 queries Mr. Baus. 1) who are the lovely ladies in orange? 2)can you do your amazeballs style of teaching to show us hacks swings thoughts and styles for several shot shapes from the tee? You rock!
Love the blue pen is color arrow. Will that be the new shirt design?
All of this is even more true where I live. Massive elevation change on a lot of holes . Missing the fairway or green leaves you crazy side hill chips/pitches , deep bluegrass rough and so on.
The best putter on UA-cam always delivers. Waiting for your break 75 series with Bob does sports, Joey Cold Cuts, and Fat Perez. #PeterFinch #QuestForTheOpen #HITStudio #Break75 #BryanBros #LukeKwonGoLong
dude you are hilarious . i love the videos man
I like how you talk about using the same swing with different clubs to start to cover different yardages. It’s like the foundations of Dan Grieve’s 3 releases system for pitching/chipping
Was that my imagination at 6:45 about the shape of the blue area?
This Dan greeves sounds like he knows what’s up. All i care about is simple
@@GolfSidekick, it's simple enough that even I can do it.
For chipping: 3 Releases (#1 - toe-down bump & run, #2 - Standard, & #3 - Lob {but only for those who have MASTERED #1 & #2).
For Pitching: 3 stance widths (1, 2, or 3 club heads apart), choose bump-&-run or standard release based on preference and let foot spacing determine the length of back swing. No more clock-position. Just use the same swing w/ SW, GW, PW, & 9I to cover 30-100 yards... It's almost like there is a BAUSE in SE Asia giving out this free advice...
great advice, what course you played?
Confidentially I feel more confident after watching this!
Easily some of the best golf tips that make sense!
You are the best buddy!
The ton of tips and advice you give in your videos, especially regarding positive mental attitude has transformed my ball striking. Still need to improve direction and 'touch' but every ball I stand over I expect to smoke it.
Thanks for the great videos....and 'quirky' presentation. You're the best on this platform🇮🇪
nice to have some ivory coast viewers playa
@@GolfSidekick haha...Ireland brother☘️🏌⛳️
Ben Hogan used to ideally only hot shots in tournaments that he had practised 200 times each... He worked backwards from cup to tee and was a golf genius like The Baus! ❤😂🎉😅😊
Thanks again, Golf Psychic... 😵💫⛳️👍🏼
Hi matt, I have watched many of your videos over the years. I'd like to ask for a special tip, more for the golfers who play near the 6 handicap who struggle with the the hands and swing path consistency and keeping the two within a few degrees of each other. How would you practice? Do you focus fully on swing tempo for a while. Many times getting consistency with my irons would destroy my long irons and driver play and vice versa.
Difficult to say
The best is to get checked out by a good coach. Someone can fix this swing thought in 15 minutes instead of letting it create more thoughts.
Your issue may be something else entirely. But the coach can look holistically and tell you a few drills and ideas in less than an hour
I love it. "That's gambler's fallacy and it works in your favor." Gave me a chuckle as a statistician.
These lessons taught make lot of sense. Just chipping can be a big challenge for many of us. With 60 degree. Haha.
What a blast it would be to play a round with Matt and Tom Saguto!
I'm committed to the religion of confidentialism 💪 Feeling confidential on the course these days - thanks buddy!
Honestly this is the way golf is to be played …. Most people just want to rip the ball and see what happens… everyone should be studying every ol Matt has to say … he’s dropping knowledge
Unrelated... I've just taken delivery of one of your bucket hats... it is my favorite hat... ! 😂
Legend 🙌
What putter is that you are using?, would like to try that one out
Your "easy chip" just about made me fall off my chair... I do love this approach and need to do it more. I usually think backwards form the green while at the tee, but have been focusing on distances to break up the hole, but not about the possible misses along the way! It should be a simple addition to my course management thinking, just a few more seconds might make a huge difference.
Came for the learning, liked it for the comment at 20:25. lol
What country is this course in? Love the content, thanks for all the advice!!!
Thailand I believe
i'll never forget GIOTG.
My man, sick vdo! Where is this golf course? I want to play here
Kirimaya maboi
love the phallic tribute @6:33
I thought that I was the only one who caught that 😂
just found the channel a week ago and his funny saying kept me so surprised because he is speaking so informatively and then he pulls out something funny
Your 6 iron goes longer than my 7 wood! I'm getting old Baus 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The safe side color shading looked like C and B
Toe down chipping is great for tight lies bc it keeps the hosel from digging into the grass and thus hitting less chips fat.
Great short game video. But, I do miss the music that usually plays the last few minutes of your videos
Can you do a video on cowgrass in asia. SO much harder to play on
So funny when that went in 😂😂😂
Looking at the hole while putting blew my mind.
Top putting tip
Way better than Rick shiels. This guy is hilarious. Love it mate
Lol at the willy jokes at 6:45
My goat
This approach of always planning, selecting shots, taking what the course presents keeps you engaged all the way through. Then golf is a true break away from everything else, good or not so good.
Matty Boom-Boom…..I need clarification on the chipping concept. I almost exclusively avoid going high on chips and opt for the lower shots. However, there are times on longer chips it feels like the ball gets up in the air more because of the distance I need to cover. Does this shot going moderately higher result in a higher class of dirty ho or a lower class of dirty ho? Or, does it completely offset the ho and I am neither crying because I technically did not ‘go high’ but I also did not ‘hit it low’. I’m fine either way.
That easy chip was looking pretty hard
Dude you are WAY funnier than Grant Horvat. That little grass toss with the heel kick... 🤣
I think you got wrong. You hit it high it makes you cry, you hit it low it makes the dough!” 💰Gary Player. Love your channel
I think i got it right
I like how he makes up words. Asian caddy shack star!
Can you teach us to chip with a hybrid?
😂 par 3 right on the tip of the shaft
No way that wasn’t intentional 😂😂
6:27 brooo lol 😂
