This is THE strongest you'll ever feel in a DOOM game by far. All the weapons, blood punch, flame belch to gain armor, grappling hook flying around the maps, it's great. If you like DOOM 1-3 definitely play DOOM 2016 first, then this. They are both amazing, but don't skip 2016 or it'll be weird going back to it after Eternal. -old dude who's been playing DOOM since original shareware
Are people whining about the 4090 aware that this exact image quality and framerate are possible on a 3080!? What makes this video unique is the quality of the ENCODING, Doom Eternal runs 4K 120fps HDR on MUCH CHEAPER cards than this!
This whole game is amazing, except the DLC final boss IMO. Fk. that guy and his regenerating health. But that's a small complaint. Some people like him. The many other bosses are sick. If you don't try the game, at least watch all the cut scenes "movie" since you liked this intro scene. It's all along those lines of him just being a total badass.
Microwave mod works great when you have a single big bad on the field like the doom hunter because it can't fire back while you're frying it. Regular fire mode like you were using lets him get hits on you and got you down to 19 health. Drop grenades and flame belch while cooking w/ the microwave, will take care of any smaller enemies around while you're engaged and you'll end up minus no health and plus armor.
Why turn on DLSS? You're halving the resolution of the ray traced reflections. I can run Doom Eternal with all setting on Ultra nightmare and HDR enabled at native 4K and get 120fps with my 4090 without any DLSS. The 4090 can do more than 120FPS at native 4K. My TV only does 120Hz max.
isn't this the game where they force you to do gymnastics randomly to solve puzzles? i remember you have to do twirls on sticks to hop around the map, it doesn't seem very bad-ass, twirling around ya know
You don't need DLSS with a 4090 on this game. Why diminish video quality by using it? I use Ray Tracing on this game @4K using a 2080ti and get well above 60 fps

@@clipdebeats Just too difficult to do on a console controller. I'm using 2 sticks to move but need to use the D-Pad during a fight. And also use my movement stick to navigate the weapon wheel. So I select the bottom weapon and now I'm moving backwards. I'm sure it's fine on mouse/keyboard.

masz teraz poprawione z RT, wygłada lepiej... gra jest mega zoptymalizowana, ten pajac na filmiku zamiast ustawić ostrość dlss na maxa to rżnie głupa a ma rtx4090, albo niech wyłaczy i zobaczymy jego wydajność, bo bez dlss juz nie ma takiego szału

agree, my utilization is between 40 to 60 prc which is crazy, play dlcs now look amazing with Ray tracing added
