Yep, Lance Silva (the drone operator) does indeed make it possible to pick up and drop off stuff via drone, which is SUPER useful. Say you find an airdrop but it's just a huge hassle to get to where it is? Fly the drone there, then pick up all of the stuff in it without having to move your truck. Same with expeditions where you have to pick up equipment to complete it. Just fly there and pick it up instead of climbing up to the impossible spot where it was dropped.
Is there a special button or anything that pops up to do it or it just flies up and says 'grab it'? Thank you for this, I'll make sure to mention it in the next vid btw, I wanted to confirm it first and completely forgot. Cheers!
@@Banlish Once you're in the right position with the drone, you'll get the "trade" prompt, same as if you drove your truck in there. You have to be fairly close to the ground, though, and with the drone "drift", I highly recommend being in the middle of the zone to avoid interruptions. (oh, and it doesn't pick up upgrades, unfortunately)
@@misha6699 Thank you, that's one of the most informative replies I've ever gotten that is 'complete' thank you very much for this. I'll be putting this into the next vid, it needs to be seen because that saves a TON of time. Cheers!
I really like watching these videos. Started playing this game a few weeks ago. I enjoy it a lot. Wish I could play the game with you. Would be fun. Anyway keep up the good work. ✌️
Hey thanks for the nice words man, I try to be welcoming in the sense 'How would I feel if the roles were reversed?' would I come across as some know it all jerk, or someone just trying to make other gamers not waste tens of hours because they didn't know a few pieces of info I dug around to find. I'm much more be the latter than the former! Cheers!
The game does a pretty shitty job of explaining the trade and sell function as well as the respurces. I finished all 5 mission on the first map, and i still dont have a clue how it works. I jad over $30,000 at one point, next thing i know i had $12,000 and i dont jave a clue what i did.
It's why I had to make the guide, I knew people would have a problem with it and to be honest, I don't understand why, if you don't use the item, you don't get a full refund at the end of the expedition. Instead we have to dump the extra ones into storage or we are forced to lose em. A few QoL improvements would make this MUCH easier on all of us I think.
@@Banlish I'm still confused by the whole, trade and resources thing. I don't know why there are multiple spots on the map outlined in blue when you can bring up the same menu in each of the blue squares. I don't understand what the different modules are used for or why I need them. I don't know if it cost money to build each one, and why I need multiples of them. It's all very confusing but I'll figure it out as I play. I'm only 5 missions complete into the second map, which has multiple maps. basically the entire UI is confusing as hell. I could google it and find out, but i figured I would just learn as I play. Snowrunner was similar when I started. I am enjoying the game though so other than that, I cant' complain.
Same here I was loosing all my money bc I didn't see it charges you every time you extract a vehicle back to the warehouse and I was mad I spent probably 50k before I realized it was charging me and I couldn't figure out how to sell the bones and everything it tells you u can but not how lol
You’ve EARNED my subscription. Great content, clear and concise. Just got into this game and think I’ll be watching more of these !

And if you build buildings and wanna sell them use all the resources before you sell bc it's gonna make you loose a thousand dollars anyway
