your channel had inspired me to build my own affordable dolly that I also can use for underslung shots. I took some ProAm wheels and mounted them to a piece of plywood where my brother built an aluminum adapter plate for, so I can use a 75 and 100mm bowl. Works like a charm. Please don't ever stop what you're doing, I'm sure it's a great inspiration for a lot of other people as well!
This is great. Glad to see it with the movmax as that is the dolly I have. lol. Your right also about not a lot or any info on overhead dolly setup. Awesome tutorial!
Something I used to do this is is a much cheaper jib crane, putting a quickrelease on the tophandle while “flipping” the jib’s mounting plate. This on a tripod+dolly of somesort works too!
Bro that was 🔥 damn thank you for the schooling man. I subscribed and liked. Yes. I need to learn more. I want to buy all those equipments at some point.
@TenfoldProduction Maaaannn I really did enjoyed it. I added everything on your list on my cart so I can get it when I'm ready. I see you custom your own pipe. By any chance would you know where I can get them online or here in San Antonio, TX? Would it be some place like Home Depo?
Absolutely a great video! Only thing I can complain about is the lav audio quality. Could you turn off the voice isolation or something? Sounds very mechanical and not so great to listen to. But still a great explanation! Thanks!
Thanks for writing this. I saw no one mentioning this at first and thought that something was wrong with either the video or my tired ears. This confirmed it.
I noticed in one of your commercials that the setup including a Proaim Mitchell Camera Height Riser. According to Proaim, the Polaris Dolly (their version of the Dana Dolly) doesn’t fit with the Height Risee in underslung mode, unlike the Dana Dolly.
I love this. I saw you refered to a top-down dolly shot. I played the whole video and might have steeped away for a sec. However, I didn't notice any advice on those. Are there specific Mitchell riser accessories for one of those shots?
@@ciceronebezerra love the movmax and what it comes with! They all fundamentally do the same thing, but mov max comes with a bunch of accessories that are helpful + it is super smooth. Def happy with the investment

That’s a nice set up! But I think is too much for these small shots… I mean cmon a normal slider with a 85mm for that extra closer look would do pretty good job.. I am pretty sure that this set up can be flexible in different scenarios but not for small things.. Appreciate you showing you set up tho:)
Again, this is a more of a setup that can be adapted to different situations. We just used in in smaller spaces to give you a reference point. Often times, we need to put a large camera like a Venice over a table without showing any stands or anything. This would be the way we do it. For super simple stuff a slider works, but sometimes you need long dollys with a wide, and the stands will show if you don't go underslung.
Great content, however, the last few videos have had terrible zoom call audio quality. Please stop using that silly DJI mic with NR. It's horrible. Thank you for your videos!
@@quantumuniverse4606 half the time we’re doing this on Alexa’s, Venice’s. Overall larger cameras, we’re just teaching the concepts on a smaller camera. Appreciate the feedback.
Let’s be clear, for an overhead setup like this, this is a rather minimal setup independent of camera. A slider cannot achieve that kind of slide distance, nor drop.
Your team continues to share a wealth of information on your channel! Thank you!

Are you kidding me, bro? If it has to be FX3 so why the f… is the massive setup? You can do it just with a simple slider.
