You’re so wise Stacy! After a 4 year breakup I went and looked for attention anywhere I could get it and I convinced myself I was okay. I wasn’t for a very long time. Then after a 3 year breakup after being cheated on I allowed myself to feel everything and girl.. it hurt lol. It’s been a year now and I’m in a much better place. It will get better ladies! Give yourself time and compassion. Nothing is taken from you without something better coming. ❤️
One quote that I love to remind myself is "Follow your excitement with no insistence on the outcome." That one quote helped me so much through my first heartbreak. Doing things I love to do (dancing, hanging out with friends, etc.) and solely focusing on my happiness was so healing. There is no quick remedy to heartbreak so even through my healing process I had relapsed moments of sadness. Although I've reached acceptance, I am in the process of healing my resentment and hatred towards the things my ex did to me. Nevertheless, I am so happy to know that Stacey has created a safe space for women to be vulnerable while also offering amazing words of wisdom. 😊❤

Thank you for this video so much!! I ended my 2+ year relationship about 3 weeks ago and I feel so much guilt that I still miss him. Some how I expected to feel much better by now and I don’t. I ended things because he became really distant and I realized he didn’t love me anymore based on his actions. We tried to talked things out a few times and it just seemed like he didn’t care anymore. The toughest part was that we lived together and how quickly he found a new apartment. Everyday for me is different…Some days I’m angry, others I cry, and some times I feel joy and peace. Trying to listen to my inner voice of what I need has been helpful. I seek out company when I need it and I isolate when I need to as well. Also I have been in prayer a lot which gives me hope that God will heal my heart from this.
