Major Sign of Revival as Greg Laurie, Harvest Christian Fellowship Baptize 4,500 at Pirates Cove

- Inspired by the movie "Jesus Revolution", thousands of people came from all across America and the world over the weekend to take part in a "Jesus Revolution Baptism" at the now-famous Pirates Cove in Newport Beach, California.
Harvest Christian Fellowship Sr. Pastor Greg Laurie held the massive baptism event following last week's SoCal Harvest Crusade, where 32,500 people gathered and 6,794 made decisions to dedicate their lives to Jesus Christ.
Laurie, whose salvation story is featured in the "Jesus Revolution" film and who was also baptized at this location 50 years ago, couldn't believe the size of Saturday's crowd.

The Lord told me not to go to the movie, but I do believe in baptism and have baptized myself. Once you are baptized, you will desire to live holy and read the Bible to know how to live the born again Christian life. Romans 6- Do we keep on sinning so that grace abounds? Never. True water baptism shouldn't happen based off of a movie. Water Baptism means you are wanting a relationship with Jesus and that you are declaring that you are no longer going to walk in the ways of this world and that you are going to walk the walk with Jesus.. I don't doubt that there were alot of people here that truly turned their life over to God, and i don't want to think that any of those people are there just because of a movie. I pray that all 4500 of those people are still seeking the Lord and seeking His will.
Baptism doesn't save you belief in what Jesus did on the cross does. We're saved by grace not of ourselves in what we do. The change comes through the Holy Spirit.

No. It’s just one water baptism. You just need to repent to God. We’re talking about true repentance in which you let God work in you so that you don’t do again that which wants to take you captive. God will give you all the help that you need, you just need to let Him help you and follow His lead.

It's not supposed to be about Pirate's Cove.
God's intention was/is that we, after receiving the New Birth, be baptized by the congregation where we've planted ourselves, along with an opportunity to share our personal testimony of God's Grace saving us from ourselves; so that we would both have a platform for outward confession, and give those with whom we will regularly worship a 50-50 chance of them believing we are one of them, one of the Body.

...also, the term "water baptism" is a misnomer, as I more fully explained in a tweet. (And such is about much, much more than being pedantic. "Baptism" is not the noun form of "baptize.")

The REAL BAPTISM IS done only by Orthodox Christian people or Orthodox Priests and the person who is baptized must be dressed in white as the colour of the white pigeon who represents the Holy Spirit who was above Jesus when He received the Baptism from John the Baptist! Any other colour is inappropriate, and any baptism performed by non-orthodox people is FAKE ! BUT IF THEY CHOOSE A CHRISTIAN WAY OF LIFE WITHOUT ABORTIONS OR other bad deeds I think God will receive them in the Kingdom of Heaven ! 🕊️

Some Catholic people who want to become Orthodox are welcomed by Orthodox Church, whithout a new baptism , only by ointment with sacred oil ! But other Catholic Christians want the wholy new Orthodox baptism , because the TRUE HOLY SPIRIT comes only in Orthodox churches !! That's the fact !

I emphasized that it's possible to enter the Orthodox church with Catholic baptism, but the correct procedure, (which is especially demanded also by many Catholic persons) is to perform the Orthodox baptism for the first time WHICH IS ALSO THE LAST TIME you can get it !
