Shell t6 15w40, wich I'm aware is not what is supposed to be used in it. But I'm thinking that because it's a high detergent oil it's knocking loose deposits in the pump

@@tdm8817 OK cool I was just wondering because I have 2 Kellogg American air compressor and a champion and I need to change the oil in them soon....... in your other video I mentioned that a machine shop guy I knew he would throw whatever motor oil He had around in it never had a problem with it

@@tdm8817 I was thinking it might not make a difference with the non-detergent and detergent because with the non-detergent oil it allows the trash to sink to the bottom but when the air compressor turns on it stirs up the trash at the bottom anyway and gets it back into the oil

@@tigwelding123 on one hand you would think so but the oil i drained out was quite clean and yet there is all this black shit draining out. If it did infact mix with the oil you would expect it to turn the oil dark.

@@tdm8817 true.........that could also be from old sludge or maybe the casting form the crankcase because I have seen oil get a little bit discolored from the crankcase also I have seen if there is any additives in the oil will sink to bottom if the oil is not used for a while
