I wish all Juded had to watch the bodycam footage from the stops (when there is such data) and also evalutate their behaviour at that time - as it is telling who they really are.

      It's not about entitlement or never being told no. It's highly likely what you're looking at is the result of addicted parenting, or at the very least, an unstable childhood. I saw it all the time in my work with behavourially challenged students. High probability of coming from a single parent home and that parent being an addict.

      @@Dont_be_a_Silly_Wombat, I’m not sure I understand how this behavior would stem from that. I don’t have your work experience so I’m probably wrong, but it seems to me that she would have had to have learned that these wild outbursts benefited her in some way and that’s why it’s her go-to behavior. Can you explain how having an unstable childhood or addicted parenting would have led to how she is acting here?

    • @lexandrosphynx1049
      @lexandrosphynx1049 7 місяців тому

      @@smackee2711 Growing up in unstable environments frequently causes people to experience emotional dysregulation as adults. This defendant's behaviour is textbook. Outbursts rooted in emotional dysregulation occur regardless of the subject's own perception of power dynamics, that is to say, they will scream to the heavens about injustice knowing that they are only going to sink deeper into the pit they're already stuck in. Outbursts resulting from entitlement stem from a subject's perception that they have the power to avoid consequences in their situation, usually because their past experiences reflect that pattern; they do something they should be punished for, they freak out, and then they're soothed and the punishment disappears.
      She's in court because she assaulted someone, probably for the same reason that she's acting like this now. You can tell that the defendant doesn't expect anything to get better as a result of her behaviour. She's not surprised by Judge Bryant's response. This isn't someone who thinks they have power to throw around. This is someone who is on the attack because she's cornered and feels she has nothing to lose.
      Think of it like this: Someone gets beaten down enough, they snap and lash out. Someone gets beaten down, physically or emotionally, throughout their childhood, they're taught through experience not to trust in things like justice or fairness or goodwill. They feel like nothing else will work with regards to conflict resolution, so lashing out is the only tool in their toolkit.

      I guarantee there is no hope for this woman. She believes she's a victim in all situations, she's disrespectful, she's stupid, and she doesn't want to learn. So no amount of training hours will make a bit of difference. She's belligerent because she wants to be. I'm surprised she hasn't tried to use the race card, even on a black judge. I think judge Bryant was far too easy on her. Where I live , a fraction of that behavior would send a defendant to jail immediately on contempt. There was a time where all courts would respond that way, believe it or not, people actually respected the court. Keep letting people like this slide and we won't have a society any longer.... The tattoos on her hands, R hand, "COLD", L hand "HEART", is a perfect reflection of her character. Cold Hearted does seem a fitting description. She's quite literally wearing her character flaws. You don't see that very often. 😂

      I think she is very likely just the opposite. She seems to wear her heart on her sleeve if she is so easily brought to tears and rage by someone's words. The judge didn't even use profanity and the "lady" almost instantly was in her feelings. Just my opinion. Have a great day!

    • @johnoa1146

      The fact is, she likely chose the words for her tattoo "COLD HEARTED".
