Prince and his father being tied is one of the most haunting creepy things I can think of the sport of baseball, it's like a higher power pre ordained it
Loved having this guy with Detroit, I've known and respected him since day 1 in Milwaukee and I was so happy to see him sign in Detroit. What a great career and a great guy, we'll miss him in the MLB.
Nah, it's just that running bases well requires good technique, and for as big as prince is he's flawless, he takes great lines leans through the turns etc, he's a good base runner through and through
As yankees fans in the mid 2000s there were only two men who scared the absolute shit out of me in a close run ball game, David Ortiz and Prince Fielder
I feel like sometimes when Prince would really connect on a ball, I would've honestly been more surprised if it wasn't a home run. Physically impossible for some of these balls to land short of the fence the way they're hit. Something special about that for sure.
I loved his time with the Detroit Tigers 🐅, as a Tigers fan, I thought he did decent, he’s obviously not his father, so it sucks that his career was cut short due to severe neck injury, but I can understand why the Tigers traded him away, they needed a second baseman what I don’t understand is why the Tigers paid Prince Fielder for 9 years $214 million dollars, when he lasted only two seasons with the Tigers, he should’ve signed a two-year contract if it was that short of a tenure with the Tigers, I mean, I get the fact that Mr. I wanted to win a championship, I mean, when you have some of the best pitchers in Major League Baseball on your team and Justin Verlander, Max Scherzer, Doug Fister, Anibal Sanchez, Rick Porcello and many others on the Detroit Tigers team along with big time bats like Miguel Cabrera, I mean who wouldn’t want to play on the 2012 American League championship team Detroit Tigers team, I thought, Prince Fielder was a decent addition, both years he was here in Detroit he was in the All-Star game, I just thought that the 2012 team had the best chance to win a World Series, because the 2006 team didn’t have as many players to give us a chance to win the World Series, in my opinion in his tenure with the Tigers, I think he did OK not the best. I wish he could’ve played a little bit better in the playoffs and could’ve came to life in the World Series to help the team win more games to beat the Giants instead of us losing again. Anyways, thank you for posting this video.!! ⚾️🐅
He was a surefire hall of famer. Could have finished with around 600 hrs if he had a healthy career. At least he finished with the exact same hr total as his father which must be some sort of twisted fate in some way
I do too. He's still with the rangers contract, so they're adding him on the 60 day disabled list, so he technically isn't retired. I've heard he's making a Netflix cooking show called fielders choice.
Prince's actions spoke for themselves, and had he not been injured he would have reached the 500 home run mark easily, and yet after all his accomplishments, so many people see fit to make fun of his body type. Just goes to show you no matter how much you excel at life, this country is only ever going to measure you by what you look like. And people wonder why the suicide rate in America is through the roof 😡
Man........if only you had stayed in Milwaukee. He probably wouldve had a .300, 60hr, 120rbi season if he continued to hit in Milwaukee. He killed shit with the brewers.
Logan Harter yea because he had to carry the team. In detroit he had miggy, v-mart, johnny peralta, the best bulpen, and the best starter in the 2000's
Tigers fans like myself have a soft spot for the Fielder family. Things go perfectly and Prince is remembered more as part of The 21st Century Murderers Row, along with Victor and J.D. Martinez, Nick Castellanos and the Venezuelan Babe Ruth, Miguel Cabrera. Like with everything Tigers-related since 1985, though, Something Went Wrong.
no music...awesome!!! end of a career as of today. The POP off his bat is unlike most. CRACK!!! This is why NO music is the only way to put these clips together!!!
Little did the video maker know that the career highlights would be more serious then anyone thought. I remember him back in Milwaukee, and he was awesome. Then he went to Detroit, and then Texas screwed him up. You, big sir, will be missed. As will that one guy's nacho
His wife slept with a Detroit teammate and it leaked out… Prince had no choice to go in the clubhouse and charge the guy, miggy then tried to break up the fight tearing an abdominal muscle…
Prince fielder is one of the most emotional players to watch. He's like the slugging version of Big Sexy.
That’s is so true you put that so well the “slugging version of Big Sexy”
No.
Big Sexy slugs too.
Fielder has been my favorite player in all of baseball since I was 5. I'm really going to miss going to his games.
Same and my brothers make fun of me because he's my favorite player but I don't care or listen to them
It's really sad that he has a career ending injury. He could've hit 500+ homeruns.
agree
No about 430
Kellie Rupe lol nah he would hit 500+
@@caveman5396 ehh idk about that for sure 400 + though
Prince and his father being tied is one of the most haunting creepy things I can think of the sport of baseball, it's like a higher power pre ordained it
He’s actually the reason I became a Brewers fan. I was heavyset playing little league & they instantly became my team back in 2008 .
At 3:14 a guy holds up a sign that says *Prince stay in Milwaukee*, the very next play was from when he played for Detroit
one of the greatest sluggers of all time I got his jersey today MIL one.
The years he was on the Tigers with Miggy.. that was a great time
He's my favorite player ever. His personality brought a comedic sense to the game in Detroit.
I'm gonna miss this guy. :/
Shame. He was a formidable hitter in his day.
my favorite Prince moment was when Prince was in DET and in one of the games he ate a fan nachos lol.
Yes!
Loved having this guy with Detroit, I've known and respected him since day 1 in Milwaukee and I was so happy to see him sign in Detroit. What a great career and a great guy, we'll miss him in the MLB.
Him and miggy at the corners probably created the worst defense in mlb history tbh
He ended up with 319 career home runs, which is exactly how many his father Cecil had.
1:43 the hardest swing in MLB history
I’m sayin😳😂😂
Griffen with hips
@@coreygolphenee9633 what
@@samsepiol05590 typo hes Griffey with love handles
Big papi in Japan 👀
That swing is soooo beautiful
He lowkey fast😂
Idk why but when he sprints it’s actually fast
Mannn lol he gettin it lol 😂
Nah, it's just that running bases well requires good technique, and for as big as prince is he's flawless, he takes great lines leans through the turns etc, he's a good base runner through and through
May 9: Happy birthday Prince Fielder; 6 x All Star, 3 x Silver Slugger Award. Thank you and God bless. Thanks for the upload, Team Rvhx. Blessings
He NEVER ran slowly just because he was big, and he expected the same out of his teammates!
He also ran bases with fantastic technique, he's leaned over at every turn hard, takes great lines around the base path, it's so fun to watch
The sound of him hitting the ball is like asmr to me
Looking back on this Prince was such a good player and looks like a good guy to have in the club house
As yankees fans in the mid 2000s there were only two men who scared the absolute shit out of me in a close run ball game, David Ortiz and Prince Fielder
Swing is absolutely beautiful
I miss watching prince play. He had one of the great lefty strokes of all time
Such a beautiful swing
Fucking miss him. Prince, Howard and Albert. The big 3 of my childhood.
Prince may be overweight but he's fast. He caught me off guard when I saw him run with the tigers
he had one of the best swings of all time, so silky
Dude he was a homerun derby champion remember that that day he became a homerun derby another player I respect even though I’m a cardinals fan
I feel like sometimes when Prince would really connect on a ball, I would've honestly been more surprised if it wasn't a home run. Physically impossible for some of these balls to land short of the fence the way they're hit. Something special about that for sure.

Watching Him swing makes me happy
He was a surefire hall of famer. Could have finished with around 600 hrs if he had a healthy career. At least he finished with the exact same hr total as his father which must be some sort of twisted fate in some way
that triple in the all star game was awesome big Prince turning the wheels
I remember him in his time as a Tiger I miss that team.Prince, miggy (Ik he’s still with us) Verlander and all the others
He was so underrated in Texas
I wish that he can come back.
I do too. He's still with the rangers contract, so they're adding him on the 60 day disabled list, so he technically isn't retired. I've heard he's making a Netflix cooking show called fielders choice.
The most violent smooth swing

Bro his swing is immaculate
I really miss him
ABSOLUTE UNIT
Dude was a monster!
As rangers fan I wish we would’ve had him longer man
so I think if he lost about 20 to 30lbs when he was playing he probably wouldn't of suffered a career ending injury
Man........if only you had stayed in Milwaukee. He probably wouldve had a .300, 60hr, 120rbi season if he continued to hit in Milwaukee. He killed shit with the brewers.
Logan Harter but he went to his dads team.... Thats why he went to the tigers. His dad is a tigers icon
Vibe Random he still should've stayed. I think all his best and most clutch seasons were in Milwaukee.
Logan Harter yea because he had to carry the team. In detroit he had miggy, v-mart, johnny peralta, the best bulpen, and the best starter in the 2000's
Logan Harter right nbs
why does this make me cry
this was when the brewers were most exciting in the 2000s
I miss him. I was happy that the rangers got him
I forgot how violent his swing was
Fun fact: Prince and his old man both ended their careers with 319 dingers
Tigers fans like myself have a soft spot for the Fielder family.
Things go perfectly and Prince is remembered more as part of The 21st Century Murderers Row, along with Victor and J.D. Martinez, Nick Castellanos and the Venezuelan Babe Ruth, Miguel Cabrera.
Like with everything Tigers-related since 1985, though, Something Went Wrong.
Lefties always have the prettiest swings.
My second favorite swing after Griffey Jr.
Do Adrian Beltre next
I should
I am from germany and i saw a couple games with him and it was impressiv
2:38 Wow, just wow.
I keep watching his moonshot at 3:27
They needa put him back in the MLB the show
Rip princes career
Prince deserved 320, to not be medically cleared to at least pass his father is the most heartbreaking thing of all
Lol
Nah
It’s perfect
Pretty cool he tied his father
I’m
Sure they’re both proud & neither is heartbroken about it
You should do a video of position players (non pitcher)pitching
Sam Baseball That sounds like a good idea
+Team Rvhx I like it
Anyone wanna make a petition for Prince to go to the hof?
Thicc Griffey forever
1:40 was mauled
Typherix Project he knew it was gone immedieatly
For his inside the park home run, he saw a cheese burger at home.
Seamus O'Sullivan wtf 😂 nigga geeked
Why no epic celebration that he did 😢

His wife slept with a Detroit teammate and it leaked out… Prince had no choice to go in the clubhouse and charge the guy, miggy then tried to break up the fight tearing an abdominal muscle…
GO RANGERS
Wuo prince
I thought it would be highlights of pince as a fielder
Blady Guerrero jr
Finaly the rangers get him but he s not doing a stellar year
Share my life
Didn’t know he played for Milwaukee
😥
too heavy…
All his HRs were no doubters
Retired too early
I mean it's not like he wanted to
Yeah but he didn't have a choice
only one defensive highlight. im not impressed.
he plays first base
+Le_King Brett DH now ?
+Cédric Monnin no he plays first now
he has made plenty of good first base plays
he sucks lol worst trade the Rangers have ever made.
yea kinsler is putting up mvp numbers =/
It was actually a smart trade he just happened to get injured
My dude @2:00 left hanging by literally everyone 😭
