Оператор ПТРК более уязвим, чем оператор дрона. Должен находиться в прямой видимости для наведения. И пока ракета не достигнет цели. У нас нет ПТРК как джавелин " выстрелил и забыл ". Но наши ПТРК мощнее. Однако ланцет это новое слово. Ждём более тяжёлый вариант, с боевой частью не 3, а 7-8 кг. Чтоб наверняка уничтожил любой танк в любую проекцию.
А ещё на некоторых танках есть системы активной защиты, сбивающие атакующую ракету. Так вот, скорость ланцета намного меньше, и активная защита не воспринимает его, как угрозу. На западных танках таких систем нет. Но они появятся.

And the turkish LEOPARD`s was old LEO 2 A4 without upgraded Armorprotection .... and the turkish ordonance welded the Ammo Compartments Safty Haches in ,, Always open" Position ; that causes horribel internal Ammo explosions and killed every singel LEO crew . On pictures from syria you can see burned LEO`s with blown off turrets ; a clear sign for internal Ammo Explosions! In general the turkish army leadership made the greatest mistakes by sending the LEO`s into battel without ground support and early reconisence ; that make the lone LEO`s easy targets for hidden ambushes of singel RPG snipers. Very similar to the russians warefare in chechen city of grosny and their horribel losts of tanks and its crews.

Observation and Recco from ground and air is your best friend , keep you alive and abel to find and hit the enemy first. @@jebise1126 doesnt have to kill it, just bog it down. a Leopard with damaged tracks or drive motors, isnt going anywhere. leaving it a great target for artillery who then doesnt have to deal with a moving target. Kind of like a one two punch knock out. It if it hits a Leopard engine, that will probably knock it out for good.

@@bernardpaul3771 While true, it kinda depends on where on the turret. While the armor is "supposedly" advanced, there are smoke launchers in/around the turret. One video I watched show a Leopard being hit there and causing those canisters to go off and white smoke poured out there. I think that Leopard was later confirmed killed either by another Lancet, artillery, or anymore of any reasons. The only real advantage the Leopard has over say a T-72 in this case is its more "modern armor" (saying this VERY losely since I am not impressed at it) is there is no autoloader. Those autoloaders have been proven time and time again to detonate after such strikes to the turret. Thus saving the crew, though if the crew survives the gunfire and battle outside of the tank is a different story.

They have to get past the minefields, the guided artillery, the attack helicopters and the Lancets. Without support, they are sitting ducks. Do you ever see Russian tanks coming out to duel with the mighty leopards in a reprise of the battle of Kursk? They don't have to.

Russia will be launching another, upgraded version of the Lancet. They can be launched in swarms of up to 200, communicating with each other and assigning targets to take out,such as, radar, AD units, tanks, armored cars and trucks.
Lancet-3 can work in swarms, but need to be supported by other command utilities for example such as a-50 (those in working conditions reds have few). I agree that drones proved to be strong weapon in this war, but for now Ukraine have shown that they are few steps ahead of agresor how to use them.
And one more point, in the end its not tank which is impotant but crew which use it, in conclusion you can dmg/destroy western tank but crew in 95% of cases will survive, in matter of Russian tanks, those chances are less then 40%
@@JaroslawMaj13 The Russians use the Orlan drone. Russia has far superior drones. Russia is making better FPV drones with thermal imaging and night vision. And the Russians have more. They also use Geran drones in combination with missiles to attack industrial areas.

Unfortunately, no tank in this war is a game changer. It’s been incredibly rare for tanks to even square off with one another. Too many drones, too many antitank weapons, too many mines and too much artillery fire for the tanks on either side to be able to have an effect on the battlefield. The only game changing performance the Leopards have shown off is their crews surviving direct hits from lethal rounds… unlike their soviet/Russian counterparts.

Да. Но если я не ошибаюсь, она реагирует на ракеты. Скорость ракеты сотни метров в секунду. Скорость ланцета десятки. Разница на порядок. Поэтому она не реагирует, не считая такой объект угрозой. Так что любая существующая на сегодня система активной защиты нуждается в доработке. Или нужна разработка новых. И ещё две вещи. Трофи не лучшая защита. Есть системы лучше. Не буду говорить, что русские, чтобы не начинать спор, но израильские точно лучше. И второе: они не используются. То есть их мало. Что в западных странах, что в России. Тем более ни один танк переданный Украине не имеет её абсолютно точно. Исключение тут опять Израиль. Они широко используют эти системы. А русские и западные компании их только разрабатывают и испытывают, армии получают такие малые количества, что реально этот не имеет значения.
All tanks have vulnerabilities, i had mine disabled by a single 7.62 bullet that bounced on the gun , hit transmissin oil radiator making it impossible to shift . The tank survived an RPG 7 round , but was immobilized by a single bullet.

The Leopard II A4 seen in the title of the video, plus a second one. Both tanks are totaled by Ukrainian soldiers who were supposed to be trained on these tanks. The German tanks damaged on the battlefield, abandoned due to breakdown, lack of fuel and ammunition can be counted as a total loss. Depending on the version, a Leopard tank weighs up to 60 tons and the Ukrainian army does not have a recovery vehicle that can recover such heavy vehicles from the battlefield.

@@jackass9462 most were disabled by mines or artillery. 1 A6 and 2 A4s have been destroyed. The rest, including the ones hit by a lancet drone, have been disabled but can be repaired. There is a factory or Poland doing just that.

They need inflatable 3D painted tarps with a high infrared signature staked out to lure the drones to them and not the real tanks. Mass printing and inflatable tubes could be easily manufactured and placing hundreds of these around the battlefield would deplete the Russian stock of these drones.
No tank can resist to modern antitank weapons, the only difference is your chance to survive a hit: high chance in western tanks, lower chance in soviet/russian onces.

Specwise US AeroVironment Switchblade 600 is better. It has a bigger warhead, more range, and a faster terminal speed. However few were sent to Ukraine. On the other hand Russian ZALA Lancet feels similar if not identical to Israel's UVision Hero 120 which is another potential anti-tank kamikaze drone.

No, there isn't. Plenty of videos show lancet hits (mostly on already disabled and abandoned Leopards), but none actualy destroy a Leopard. Some show a lot of white smoke, that just means it hit the smoke launchers at the side of the turret.

I don't know why NATO thought that a hand full of western tanks was going to be a game changer in Ukraine. Tanks have always been very vulnerable to an attack and western tanks have proven to be no different. A lancet drone costs only 35 thousand dollars vs German Leopard tank that costs 11 million dollars each.
