20 HOUR ROADTRIP IN A CYBERTRUCK - A Horrible Idea
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 лют 2024
- We have been looking to get our hands on a Tesla Cybertruck for months, and at long last, we got one. Pretty soon these will be like seeing a Tesla Model 3 on the road, but in the meantime, they are quite the hot commodity. We picked the Cybertruck up in San Jose and immediately put the truck to the test. We drove from San Jose all the way to Salt Lake City with a few detours inbetween and racked in 1000 miles at the end of the trip. On paper, the trip would have taken 11 hours without stopping. With charge times, detours, and other stops, it took us more than 20 hours to get back home.
Thanks for watching!

Thank you!
Agreed give it time it’ll blow up I’m sure, love the content 🤘🏽😈🤘🏽
Cybertruck lowkey looks tuff
Charging for an hour? I drove that route in our Model Y and would charge for maybe 20 minutes and go.
I’m driven from Sac to SLC. Love the drive. Would be super fun cybertruck for sure
For about the millionth time EVEN IF it's running on pure coal power,a rare thing these days, electric vehicles create less greenhouse gasses per mile than gasoline cars. How can this be you say? Gasoline motors are at best 25% efficient. Coal power plants due to their size and complexity are closer to 45% efficient. electric cars are close to 90% efficient in turning electricity into motion.Batteries take energy to make but gasoline takes energy to refine. Batteries can and will be recycled because they are valuable. Gasoline once burned obviously can't be.
Gosh i Wish i could have gone with you guys. This looks so much fun!
I treat those flight attendants so well! And they do hook you up.. Ive received free headphones, free media tablet thing on my way to hawaii!! that one was the best!
Great vid
How are people getting their cybertrucks delivered for pickup so far away?
Love the videos! Quickly become one of my favorite channels 🔥🔥💯
Appreciate it!!
Banger!
love the content. Also. I swear you sound exactly like Peter Mckinnon, it would literally be impossible to tell the difference.😂
How many motors does Ron's cyber truck have?
First (19 seconds ago) Love the vids man!
ps. Come to Coeur d Alene Idaho!!
tace makes the best videos!!!!
did you buy it?
How fast were you guys driving the whole way? Lol
I’m speculating here… You single-handedly demonstrated why I will never put my Cybertruck on Turo. I’m sure you waited until the owner was satisfied before posting this video. There’s a burned bridge lol. Someday you’ll run out of burned bridges. Karma.
This is our cybertruck . We bought it
@@supercar_ron cool, no burned bridge lol. No bad karma. But it still shows why I wouldn’t rent out on Turo lol.
Rad to see you drop by Orwood and Disco Bay!🤙
Man needs more subs
Why did you drive to Tahoe, then Reno then back to Tahoe?
What supercar ron do for a living?
Careful, next time that kid sees you he might punch the Bugatti!😂
Gotta watch the Stradman video about doing donuts. You have to jump through a few hoops to make it spin in the snow
The gift card idea works for upgrades only with the gate agents, they are the ones in charge of upgrades. The flight attendants will take better care of you though with the gift card.
this is sick
Best video y'all have made so far. That truck is so ugly it's beautiful.
Tace is the 🐐
The thumbnail should have been you on the windscreen of the Cyber truck. That's funny as shit
thats so cool in the Bay Area
Yoooo, Cybertruck has Vampire Survivors??
CT just got another new feature,, to get you out of a speeding ticket. Anyway, can CT do regular cruise control? it's so easy for EVs to go over the limit,
😅 nice to see that thing at orwood in Brentwood
🔥🔥🔥
Teslas are amazing except for the range. I drove from chicago to cali and back.
If iron man was a truck, thats it!!
This video only got 3.2k of views???
You didn't include the video that went viral with the apple vision pro haha
That’s next haha
Come on…. You seriously couldn’t find the traction control…..
You realise you don't need to charge to 100% right?
Exactly, biggest mistake people make with EVs! Charge from 18% or less for like 5 to 15 minutes and run 85 mph to the next charger and do the same. Don't ever charge it over 50%, when charging miles per hour slows down, unless you absolutely are going somewhere where it says you need more to get there with minimum remaining. This will cut your overall charge/travel time way way down. It's like a parking lot, when the battery gets full, the electrons have a harder time finding a place to park. You can trust the destination battery percentage on screen but give yourself a buffer until you have more experience with your driving style. Google Tesla supercharger travel optimization
We found a cybertruck?
Who would rent you a cybertruck 🤔
Slow down you get better miles doing 85 will kill your mileage 😅
Next trip, bring a gas powered generator in the back with a full gas can for it for those out of the way stops.
It seems like not a good car for road trip but fun to drive ! Also, Tesla did it on purpose for extended battery pack since this car runs out of battery very fast ! Smart move ! One sub for ya bro !
These things are super cool for regional travel but 40min-1hr charges every 150miles doing real world highway speeds just isnt feasible for most scenarios. You can plan one stop around a meal but after that you are just wasting time. Can't do this on the clock while working and can't do it with small kids unless they are ok with napping frequently in their car seats.
first
That's a big problem with EV's right now, not enough charging stations. I live in a city of 40,000 people, the city next to me has 60,000 people, and the bigger city near me is Peoria Illinois, with 120,000 people, and in all 3 cities there are only 3 Tesla superchargers, one per city, it's ridiculous.
All that I got from this video was that electric car suck
How many coal plants and Tesla fuel powered charging stations did you need to make this happened? LOL
6 million
@@supercar_ron 😂 all in good fun
Pack a gas generator in the bed and get a portable charger.
Until they come up with a quick charge battery that lasts 14 hours I will stick with the not fossil fuel gasoline or diesel
🤮
Hmm 5 minute fillip ot an hour to charge no thank you
