hey jess! i just wanted to say .. from one viet girl to another, thank you so much for making these videos! you talked about it once in another video how growing up, you didnt feel pretty enough and sometimes you were told from others, even family members, how when you started to "become prettier", you looked more korean looking. as if being korean was synonymous with pretty and viet because synonymous with ugly. i feel like that really resonated with me bc i didnt realize i was trying to hide my viet identity for 2 decades and started to embrace my vietnamese features more. im so glad that there are viet rep on youtube for little viet girls to look up to!! i definitely think youre very inspiring.
