I have a simple system Michael, and that's unless its totally beyond any form of use or older than me (and I am retired), it stays, but its got to be stored properly and be cleaned. I have had customers, neighbours and friends that have had their bacon saved by my storage of useful things and saved a fortune on current prices.
My mum would have had me for having my shirt collar out one side and the other side under my jumper !! 😂 ,Sorry, you are looking Much more positive Today Michael, And Don't throw away anything you definitely will need it tomorrow 😂 👍
A guy told me that the price of scrap drops on the run up to Christmas and the summer holidays as they know people want to cash it in for the spending money
My experience of, that might come in, stems from my father lol I was born in Hampshire 1968, we moved to Yorkshire 1971, in 1973 we moved house, in 1996 we demolished an outhouse, with integral coal shed, to find a galvanised bucket full of 6" nails my father bought up from Hampshire when we moved lol, he was in construction all his working life, so his initial thought was probably founded, but not over 2 decade's of, they might come in lol Seems autumn cleaning is an agricultural pass time Tom Lamb, Olly Blogs and yourself, should hold an auto jumble, so others can store your collection for you, paying you for the privilege lol Good luck Take care 55% Geoff
