if anyone has the maisto carbon fibre track pack shelby, i'd be interested in knowing if the rear seats have been removed like they are with the real track pack. this one isnt the track pack so it still has the rear seats.

That would be an easy conversion since both models use similar parts.

is the engine an actual block that can be removed like older models were made with or has it been cheapened into a couple basic plastic parts ?
It’s usually just a couple plastic parts now, though there are some exceptions. This one is made up of at least 3 different pieces.

Irl the gt500 and gt350(r)are wider than the regular s550. Glad maisto didn’t cheap out like at all on the gt500. Very impressive.
Yeah, I was also impressed with their attention to detail. They recycled only a few small components from their 2015 Mustang mold.

I think Maisto kept the back seat in there. I didn’t know that about the CFTP version.
The CFTP doesn't have the backseat.
