I like Welly mainly because their doors are normal.

Cool model, unique color. Didn't know that Motor Max made a Crown Victoria in 1/24 scale. Very comfortable car to both ride in the back seat and drive. My dad would typically rent one on family vacations because of their comfortable front and back seats and large trunks.

Very nice review on this Motormax Ford Crown Victoria these were produced for 20 model years until the end of the 2011 model year when the Panther platform was discontinued these were very well in the past always be a timeless classic

the facelifted models may have more details, but i actually prefer the 2012 charger. it had more of a personality and character.

Cool comparison. Personally I like it more correct in the scale at least when the particular model is standing next beside other models in that scale. Welly's 1/24 scaled models are very often in different scales. I have a Fiat 126p from Welly but as I checked about the measurements it is with 1/20~1/21 actually closer to 1/18 than to 1/24. So in this scale Welly is only my choice if I really want a particular model because of the car. So in this case if you're loving Dodge Charger no matter what scale then of course go for it. But if you want to display different cars from actually the same scale then I wouldn't want to get it. So at the end it depends on the collector's choice.

while I appreciate motormax for doing it in the correct scale, I personally will never buy another of their models. Of the budget brands they have by far the worst fit and finish I find Welly does their newer 1/2x stuff much better. They don't do the old school dogleg door hinges, their engine and interior detailing is much sharper, their models have brake separated from the axles and the rims and they seem to avoid using large visible pegs for head and taillights more often than the other brands. Welly do have some QC issues but in general I still look for them for any 1/2x diecasts over other brands

I would like to comment on the three button batteries which do come in the rolls Royce phantom some selling companies don’t include the batteries the pre installed batteries are not very good and do not last long I would replace the batteries with a good alkaline batteries as they tend to last longer than the pre-installed batteries but for the price I can not complain

I have this model Mini Cooper I got it for my birthday a few days back, the headlights weren’t loose on mine so that’s good, mine is a metallic green colour with the white roof not a moonroof (sunroof in the UK), the antenna on my roof isn’t flimsy and feel like it’s gonna break off mine is sturdy but it’s still bent like your one

The clicking is the 0-4-0 docksider axle gear. It's cracked (sadly). I've owned several of those, that ended up w/ cracked axle gears because the white gears are made of nylon plastic. The best versions from Life-Like are the ones that have a semi-transparent axle gear or the black plastic gear. As to any replacement gears....See if you can ever find another at a train show. That's the best way to find replacement parts. Do you have a fiberglass polishing pencil??. That makes a great cleaning tool for any metal wheels on steam and diesel locomotives. The walther's Trainline and Mainline series trains are fantastic runners.
