Solavellan was for the last few years my Roman Empire fr fr.....I played Inquisition so often with different chars and....I did the Solas Romance twice with the Tresspasser DLC and everytime I was like "WHEN IS THE FR REUNION!"...so I am so hyped about the new game ^^

I feel this too, like oh yeah btw thanks for taking my freaking arm. I mean my lavellan went full on supporting him, but pffff love has its limits, and i dont think if there is a reunion it wont be as romanticly at all.
I want an option for a good conclusion to Solavellan soso bad. It’s probably unlikely, but I really do hope there is an ending where Solas can have a redemption arc and they can have some sort of happiness together. Gods know Lavellen deserves it after all she’s been through. 😩 Either way I want to see some mad mutual pining. 😅 There better be a secret Lavellan Mural in the lighthouse or I’ll riot lol
I am more of a Cullen appreciator myself, but I did one playthrough with the Egg and it was, I think, the way the game was meant to be played ;D I was really disappointed with the trailer, but after the gameplay reveal and all the content that started coming out, I am really excited to play the Veilguard. Watching videos like this reminded me how much I loved this franchise, the lore and the characters. I'm happy it's coming soon, and I am determined to have fun with it :D
I love all of these, but my siblings in Solavellan Hell, do not expect too much. I don't see how this story will have a happy conclusion. It was a tragic romance from the start and it will always be just that - a tragedy. I can only envision Solas dying in Lavellan's arms or vice versa, or worse - no reunion at all. 😭
I have a feeling it will be another date in the fade, since he trapped there now apparently. Maybe when Rook find out what Evanuris he accidentally freed is all about, they will look for advice from evil they know, aka Solas, and best way to find him in the Fade will be through Inquisitor.
I love the gryphon pet, but I admit im a bit sad that we wont be getting a mabari. Also, im verry hapypy that the fangirls are getting their Solas and Lavellan reunion, but ill probably never get my Warden and Morrigan reunion. D:
If I had to guess, the way the inquisitor will be introduced in VG will have something to do with them being unique (physically, magically) bc they had the anchor. Like the bad guys need someone with that specific magic compatibility (to the Fade or to Solas specifically) so the inquisitor needs to be rescued from them or recruited to keep them safe/use them.
I saw a thing that said if you didn't romance solas in inquisition, there might be the possibility of another romance for him in veilguard. I'm interested in finding out how that plays out

I don't think he will be romancable in DA:V. All other companions that have returned have not been romancable in their returning games. I imagine for Rook and Solas it will be more like a Johnny Silverhand type deal more then anything, and that sounds totally dope!
@@Cassidei So in origins, if you played the mage route, you had a bit of a romance with Cullen and he came back in inquisition as a romance option. Isabella too, in origins you could sleep with her and in 2 you could romance her and in origins with zevran, if you didn't romance him, in 2 you could sleep with him. So I don't see that out of the picture with Solas, I just think it depends on if you romanced him in inquisition
@@elissahe2377 That’s fair! Those aren’t more established romances though, more like one night stands/flirtations, which I think is what most people are referring to. I think it would be hilarious if Rook could flirt with Solas.
I feel that the solavellan inquisitor is the only inquisitor to die. It will drive solas to help rook and varric defeat the elven gods head on. Any other inquisitor will manage to persuade solas to stand down or potentially help in an advisory role. But the death of navellan will lead to a shakespearian revenge tragedy where navellan and solas both die by the end.
Here me out - with the trailer introduction when Varric was saying there's people dying and Sola says, "Everyone dies," but his face looks so hurt - Does our Insquisitor die!? I think the romanced one dies and the reason we can recreate our inquisitor is I'm thinking they reunite in the fade? Oh' I so hope I am wrong
@zombie-dolls-of-wonderland I have been saying for weeks now that if varric dosent die our inquisitor will. I'm hoping it'll be just navellan romance because we all know the solamancers love pain and tragedy and I'd like to give them some more. I'm just hoping to shoot him in his stupid egg.

Dragon Age Veliguard is a so called RPG game. Where? It looks like a generic action fantasy game. I have zero hopes for this ip ever going back to the quality Dragon Age Origins.
Origins was a great game, but my man, it's been 15 years since it came out. Games have evolved so much since then, looking for it to be the exact same as Origins will disappoint you.
@@Cassidei Im looking for an RPG that has tactical gameplay in it. Dragon Age has become a action with some shallow skill trees calling itself a RPG. I miss old Bioware and their quality products. The games I enjoy. I find it hard to believe this types of games where one off and never to be done after that. So far I have not found a tactical RPG hybrid. It is often full action or isometric games of old. Not that it is anything bad with this kinds of games. But Dragon Age has lost its personality. It is not even a dark fantasy anymore. 15 years? Time fly I guess.

I for one am happy we get a new game, which looks like they are reaching back to the feeling of doom and gloom at least. The marketing might have been a little cheery but the devs have said they focussed a lot of making the game feel dark and that bad things lurk in that darkness. Thedas gets flooded with the Blight again, worse than before; two massive tainted bosses on the loose and red-lyrium infused Darkspawn and dragons. It'll feel like an impending apocalypse, we get necromancers and kill quests. We get less random collection quests that have you scurrying through the bushes all day looking for a shard to look at the stars and more story driven quests instead. And even the contrast between light and dark in ambient lighting has been more exaggerated to make it feel like it is pressing in on you. Dark Fantasy has elements of horror and gothic aesthetic, and we seem to be getting that with this one again. Thanks for the video, Cassidei! I'm rooting for Solavellan, but assume their romance will follow a similar dark theme before we can reach redemption for Egghead and a solution for the impending end of Thedas as we know it..
@@sonnenblumefrau2048 When it comes to Far Cry games, 2nd game was the best one. No Far Cry has even done what Far Cry 2 has. Smart AI. On point environment gameplay. Like name shooter games where you can shoot into a object and the bullet does not stop. The bullets keeps on going to the other side. So that I what nothing less that that in a shooter. So far have not seen that detailed environment interaction in a shooter after that. Story vise. Far Cry has been subpar at best. Far Cry 3 had vas, felt more like one off that UBI tries to recreate and never does anything important that made Far Cry 2 good. The gameplay and the environment. Dragon Age has only had one good game. In fact it has the same problem as Far Cry. Did one good game and has never gotten back to the same level. So you are saying that if I what quality I need to go somewhere else. Well how long untill I find something good and useless hacks takes it over than runs it to the ground.

We know how its gonna end. There will be a war table mission where Lavellan sends a letter and a piece of loot, maybe some influence.

Why would Solas care that much? He is still an immortal while she will be showing signs of mortality. Solas did have a use for her as Inquisitor.

I enjoyed all three, still do. Those stuck on literally JUST Origins are about as bad as Far Cry 3 fans.
