I just want a good bodyslider, good face options, great beard options and of course good hair options and good physics which enables more armor variants cause of nearly to no clipping. that sounds great to me personally. Glad it caters different kind of taste equally (hopefully)

Geeze, I spent 5 hours once in a character creator, And that was WAY back on The Elder Scrolls 4:Oblivion... and 3 on mass effect, 4 on Inquisition(then I hated it... stupid green glow, I wasn't trying to make my elf mage THAT pale... SHE ENDED UP CAPABLE OF GLOWING IN THE DARK.) SO... With all the options listed here... yeah... Sounds like FUN.

BioWare has done this before. There was a character creator demo for Dragon Age Origins, and you could import characters from the demo into the main game.
Tbh, most elves probably have eating disorder because of how they are treated and Dalish elves might not eat all that well since they are constantly moving and they might run into areas with poor food choices.
I hope, I'm even praying, we'll get a lot of beards styles, all very different, and we'll be able to choose between beards and moustache and side burns independently and also be able to choose the length of them all

I'm not too active on social media or anything, so a lot of info passes me by unless youtubers like you compiles the info like this. With that said, all of this info has completely shifted my attitude and excitement of the game from meh to possible pre-order! This much effort into the character creator gives me hope it won't just be fun combat but an in depth story too❤️
Yes, yes, yes! I love that there's gonna be heterochromia. I didn't know there would be, I might go for that! I don't think I want to play an elf that has valaslin this time, but I like the idea of her having an unrelated tattoo elsewhere Im very stoked at the prospect of finally being able to make my Inquisitor while making it look like she's grown out her hair a little bit - I wanted to do that for Trespasser, but none of the longer hairstyles looked right, the hair line was always off, or they just didn't look good. I tried to get a modded hair that looked right, but couldn't get it to work.
I wish they had shown the same sensitivity to the RPG aspect of the game. There is no persuasion in this game, as in the last two games. All you do is kill creatures. They did not learn from Baldurs Gate 3 or the great success Da. Origins.
Really hope they do what Dragon's Dogma 2 did where they released a character creator demo so we can create a character early so we can jump straight into the game once it releases.
Oh I so hope to god that they release the character creator for us to play around with separately like how saint's row and dragons dogma has done! I'd love to play around with it for both rook and the inquisitor and get it juuuuust right so I can memorize the settings and just jump in.

As glad as I am that we're getting animations that accommodate for Rook's body size, the visual comedy of Inquisitor Adaar/Cadash being completely out of frame in most cutscenes will be sorely missed...
Sounds great my only disappointment was that you cant import your inquitor cause i liked how you can import the events from the first 2 dragon age games into inquisition i hope they change this but im still looking forward to this game 😊
With 100s of options in the cc, it's going to take most people hours to create their characters so I hope we get the cc early and import the character into the main game so we can jump right in when the game is released
I was skeptical after the trailer and seeing certain design choices. However, I must be honest by telling you that I am actually really excited to get another game from Bioware especially of being one of my favorite franchises. I'm currently re-playing all of the DA games.. -- I wonder where the story will lead in Veilguard and if we get /some/ unanswered questions answered or at the least mentioned. Wondering how much the Darkspawn are involved, they were such a major threat in the original game(s) but then simply became more like ''filler'' enemies etc. Also, I feel like people overpraise DA:O combat for nostalgia's sake. It's a pretty clunky/frustrating combat system that isn't as fluid as the other titles, due to constantly pausing and switching characters. Due to the fact that companions do not use all of their abilities and they only use more depending on their combat tactics skills and even then they do not end up using most of their abilities themselves.
I'm genuinely so scared of how much time I'm gonna put into this 😂 and I desperately hope they release it early like Dragons Dogma 2 so I can just play immediately when it comes out

@@Akeyins I'm quite sure the decision picking happen only after clicking new game right at the start before doing any cc yet. Tbh that code option would be very nice if they ended up doing that.
The main story/ side quests need to deliver, they could have the craziest customisatiom for characters ever but if the story isnt engaging/ the gameplay isnt at the very least playable and not braindead, then were dead in the water.
I know Rook is suppossed to be a chesspiece in this context, but i can't help but laugh at everyone seemingly calling your character Rookie for the entire game!
I think they're really trying to set the standard for customization, just like baldur's gate 3, i just hope it carries into future bioware games, like mass effect but also if they end up making another star wars game, or they could pull a Bethesda and just make a new franchise out of no where, but unlike Bethesda i feel like bioware cares again

BioWare has done this before. There was a character creator demo for Dragon Age Origins, and you could import characters from the demo into the main game.

Nickname! You pick your last name that is affiliated with your background and it is different than Rook
