@@danielhulan3058 on top of that, the majority of toasty bros “budget builds” involve either begging micro center to give them large discounts for bundling (even with components that aren’t in bundles) or building a PC using nothing but used parts and older Invidia GPUs, knowing well that by now a LOT of newer parts have gotten fairly affordable. They seem to have a disgust towards Intel cards especially, even though their drivers have improved by a lot

Robo's Theme from Chrono Trigger on SNES Yes, people have caught on to the similarity - but he uses other CT sound effects too so it isn't a rickroll, the game just rules
Machinist actually make great boards, my HTPC is running one with zero issues and that thing is on almost 24/7 some weeks. I am currently waiting on a B660I board to come in for the I5 12600kf I picked up from Microcenter for $70 (missing box) and the Intel Arc A580 I picked up for $125 (openbox). Been debating the P60 as well. Nice Looking build NOAB.
Great video. I'm sitting here looking at the same case which is manufactured by Ionz in the UK. I got a ryzen 5 7500F from aliexpress which was £60 less than a 7600 after tax. It took 3 weeks to get here but was totally worth the wait. The other am5 cpu that is very cheap there is the 7700. Even after tax it's £100 less than the UK price! I love the case, it was £45 in the UK and I bought some white mesh and magnetic tape to make filters as there aren't any on the case. Apart from that it's an absolute bargain.
Absolutely enjoyed the video Danny. Very similar to my build I showed you on your stream months back. Glad you were able to build this for a cheaper price than when I built my LAN PC. Love a case with a handle. I've recently been transporting my LAN PC in my old DJ Shure vinyl travel backpack was surprised it fit perfectly.
Hey man u touched on alot of great points in this video. Especially the replicating the build part for x amount of bucks. Im definately gonna use this as a reference for my next PC in the future.
I got a motherboard cpu combo for $50 during their sale and I buy a lot of stuff from Aliexpress, I think ill do an AMD build next alot like this one haha
LOL the doing reps with the case was hilarious. All of the numbers looks great. I do agree with adding a few more dollars on the ssd to get a reliable brand. I currently have 2 dead China SSDs and I am sure the number will grow. In a twisted sense of irony, I ended up handle case that is even smaller. I promise you I was not looking for one. Putting it together was definitely challenging.
@@nerdonabudget I don’t know they were in customer computers that I repaired. However, I have personally been using the same SATA SSD for over 2 years and I bought it used. So I am going to retire it to backup use only. I want to replace before it dies so I don’t suffer the unexpected blue screen one day. I will reply back with the write count on that drive. It was not used for gaming but it was heavily used 7 days a week. Maybe others can post their current use count and we can collect a little data on how long these actually last. @@AlexHusTech I intend to do 1 or 2 “China” builds just out of curiosity. It is great for content, but the long term effects are starting to appear. Just because Kia makes cheap cars, it does not necessarily mean you would buy one. You will always get what you paid for.
How bout a content in making a budget PC running with an APU in 2024 as some have really tight budget and would opt to upgrade/buy gpus in the future? Ryzen AM5s vs Intel's new gen APUs?
Build looks real clean for being a budget build that's semi-small form factor, and white considering both of those usually come with a tax. Question on the machinist board: does it support a 5700x3d or 5800x3d out of the box?
I've seen to many scams where Chinese sells ship fake CPU's. That heat sink has dead spots! You can still see the white paint in places! 3060Ti for $200... is insane. In my area people are trying to sell Regular used 3060's for new MSRP. *Ships from China* is a deal breaker for me. But everybody's gotta get scammed at least once before they realize why some prices are so low.
Hey Danny, I have a genuine question about the motherboard and ram. I have a kllisre motherboard and ram combo and I wanted to know if it lets you enable memory integrity in Windows security?
@@nerdonabudget can you at least include it in your testing in the future, also the game is already out and you can play it but its in alpha stage and its not something to be ashamed of, please do it as it help me and others choose the best parts for cheap for this game

TL;DR: Never cheap out on SSDs (and Power supplies). Many games, including CS2, will struggle or straight up NOT WORK with SSDs like that, because they come with 4GB files or larger. I know because I bought a Lexar NQ100 960GB SSD trying to cheap out and I had to learn this the hard way. The issue comes with files larger than 4GB. The controller can't handle them and the read speed will top out at 10MB/s which is lower, WAY lower, than an HDD. Best case scenario, loading times will be several minutes. Worst case scenario, like CS2, the game will freeze/crash trying to load huge files and most likely timing out. CS2 trying to load a map when entering a competitive match will result in you getting a competitive cooldown and losing ELO. Everything else on this build is fine.
