Seen the rig at Iowa80 yesterday. Wife and i stopped and said hello to lita and gave the pups a couple of head scratches. Cool meeting the pups. We live close by and crazy coincidence you guys were there....not even a trucker but like the content.

THinking about you two working together. Do you pay her so she can get social security in the distant future? I ask because my family member is a Lawyer, she was his Paralegal for 40 years. He never paid her a Salary. Of course they shared the income but on paper, she didnt "Work" to qualify for a decent Social Security benefit. Now they are divorcing and her monthly income is dismal. Spousal support aside.....this is what happens even if you didnt realize it. Tax wise, wouldnt it even help you as well?

I think you should stop trucking
I believe him and a lot of others should stop trucking, all a lot of them do is complain about how things are all of the time! I call'em Covid drivers, a lot of them got into trucking around the time that Covid hit because they had to find something to do to pay the bills when everyone had to stop working! They sure give long-time older truckers a bad name I believe! They also will have everyone convinced that watch their videos of how hard they work when they are some of the laziest people I have ever seen work but want to be paid a hell of a lot to haul loads and not work but a couple of days a week like that knucklehead JustTrucking, who I call "Barely Trucking," him and his wife think they are just perfect people! They have a lot of their viewers fooled, they are phony more than anyone I have ever seen or knew and are very lazy as well! He is always saying "t's an p's" (thoughts and prayers) to everything, but you never hear, see them talk about or go to a church in any of his videos when he videotapes everything they do! He also sure likes to brag about everything they own in every video which I believe is a turn off to a lot of people. I tried telling him in comments that him bragging and showing everything that they own off, is a turn off to a lot of people and probably keeps more people from subscribing to his YT channel and most people that have a lot of money are usually very humble people and don't go bragging to everyone about everything they own because they don't want someone to rip them off sometime! He doesn't listen and continues to do it in every video he puts out, he is going to get all of that stuff that they own ripped off some day by a criminal, when he shows the layout of his house and says when they go on vacation all of the time but he thinks that his stuff is safe because he has tracking devices and security on his house, guess he has never heard of the devices that kill the gps tracking devices and security alarms, he's going to learn the hard way one day, like a friend of mine did one time! That knucklehead is telling everyone in videos of how to own their own trucking business and then will sit there on video and complain of why there aren't hardly any good paying loads for him to haul, that's how smart that guy is! lol
Fathers day story, Arrive at 400 pm, get in the dock at 8pm. 10.30 pm shipper tells us loads cancelled, no employees came in for the evening shift 6.00 am she calls and said dock #3 for a total of 18 hours !!
The transmission fault can be an ABS sensor going out. The auto trans relay on ABS sensors to know the wheel speed and when one acts up it will throw a trans code and when is there not an ABS problem….?

My T680 transmission faults all the time. You can pull the code by cycling the key 3xs I think. Mine is faulting from the hill assist function so I just clear the fault and send it

He is very disrespectful by calling her that and has been told that it is disrespectful to call her that by several people but continues to say it all of the time, along with calling her "man and bro!" She should also call him "boy, little boy or carrot top" as well, see how much he likes being called those things! I don't understand how she puts up with all of his complaining all of the time, calling her "Woman, man and bro" instead of "Babe, sweetheart or Lita" and how he can never remember a damn thing! I believe she just puts up with him because he pays her way through life, and she gets to see the Country! She never looks happy or says much of anything ever and it's very sad to see, but I guess she is the one that chooses to be there!

My Cummins just got louder... found my resonator was rotting out at the bottom so I cut it all off and moved my headache rack forward like you did. Installed a little baby resonator under the cab but it's basically for looks - straight thru 5" pipe with a bunch of holes in it. Definitely hitting the base notes now but at speed it's about the same while bobtailing. Haven't pulled a load yet to see how bad it will be.

Hello Lita and Robert. If you want to see some funny exits, find: Captain Kleeman and skip to the end. He tucks no one into bed. When I mentioned TruckSmarter, I was referring to JustTruckin. He runs the I 95 corridor as he calls it. Florida up to Virginia and off a ways from I 95 and runs a dry van. this is completely different from what you do. He lives in South Carolina, so he is gone only two days or so. Nice tarp jobs. Have good days!
I guarantee it wasn't the consignee needing the load hot. It's the POS broker in a hurry, just so they don't have to worry if you deliver in the a.m.
Brokers are the biggest POS's, they have ruined this business.
Broker's cash flow. The earlier you get it delivered they can bill it out and get it paid.
The broker had macropoint showing you have arrived and departed to make customer think you already had it loaded, and was on the way,, brokers can make macropoint say anything they want

I unloaded in a place. They demand they weigh you before unloading. *and after as load rate based on amount by weight* then they want you to pull up, turn tight, back up… loaded to get to unload spot. But if nobody in line it’s a EASY left half circle to unload area. So if near closing it’s better.as they will hold next truck from blocking you in. I really love turning around in ripped up, trash area. When I could stay on tar roads.

The transmission problem is a macaroni thing, I've had kenworth and peterbuilt, if you have a battery kill switch, kill batteries for 2 to 3 minutes, if fixes the problem sometimes 🤦♂️
McCalla is my area, I hated that I missed seeing Fat butts and Mackie, rescue dogs on a large RV stops at that petro every week heading north for their forever home, we volunteer to help walk them sometimes
Have you put some FuelOx Liquid Friction Eliminator in that engine yet? I keep telling you that it will quiet down that Cummins. Probably still won't be as quiet as the Mack but definitely quieter.
This is why so much lay over time / lost wages for truckers especially independents. Most that problem lies in the worthless lazy money grabbing brokers period.

Better get a dealer to check for stored codes. Maybe the truck just needs a ECU update. Guys are a good team. Lita kicks butt doing the paperwork, cooking, chaining down and tarping. I haven’t seen you reply, I’m almost sure the shifter stalk, for gear selecting is bad. Had this issue many times on a previous T680……..thanks for watching….
The weird thing is the guys with the shifter down by cup holders are having the same issue.

When u turn your key on and off 5x it will clear the code not read them, on mine to check the code in a cat., turn Cruze switch off hold then hold down set till ur dash blinks, it will blink from 1 to 9 and pause then belnk again till I get the code, so if it blinks 3x and pauses ur 1st number is 3 so u got to write the numbers down and look up the code

Insulation. I pulled all in interior out of my Mack and double/tripled the insulation and damn it is very quite. Took a lot of work but worth the effort, especially the roof !
