If I can't afford a S2000 in the next 5 years I'll definitely buy a NC. Planning any engine mods? I've think a NC with 200whp, coilovers and tires could beat a brand new GR86. You would need either high compression, nitrous, boost, or a sister swap to get that without ruining weight balance with a V8. Excited to see what you do!
I’ve got race coilovers, a full rear suspension rebuild, and sticky 200tw tires coming in the next few days! I’m thinking that will really make the car hang with some fast stuff in the bends. As for the engine nothing at the moment, I’ll probably install an oil cooler though as it’s running really hot down here in Florida while on track. Thinking I’ll run it until it dies then go for the 2.5 swap. Thanks for following the build!
I could and they would be fine, but for a track car I’m looking for more of an extreme performance summer tire as they have a lot more grip than an all season. The downside is higher wear and poor wet weather grip, but I only drive this car on weekends and the track so that won’t be an issue. Thanks for watching and good to see you here again!

what's wrong if you use an all-season tire a new one?
