The dying light community is super friendly. I started playing this game very casually a couple weeks ago and didn't realize I had multiplayer turned on and it was set to occasionally request help. Every person that joins my game comes in and drops like 15 weapons that does damage upwards of 400 while everything else I have is typically 60 to 80 damage at best. Seriously nice community.
WE be like that sometimes. Mostly cuz we grind the snot out of the New Game+ junk which gives us Legendary Gear now. It is actually a lot of fun to just drop off gear that I don't need to friends and new people alike

I’m sure people know this but if you replace a charm with the korek charm and place it back it’ll repair your weapon fully again if you already had that weapon charm placed which means your weapons will never break unless you forget to change the charms
U can also get the Left Finger of gloVa if u sit on a mattress in the back room and stare at a techland poster. After all the teddy bears appear the blueprint will show up under the poster.
The fact you have go though such intuitive and annoying things just to feel like a god in 1 play though. An dont even get shit till second part, I mean hell they can make a menu or put them in a place where you can CHOOSE to use them or not.

Little disclaimer, you need the second tier of the active landing perk called safe landing if you try this on hard, active landing wont trigger because its to long a fall so you need the second tier otherwise you just fall and crack your skull every time, just tested it like 4 times, then got the perk and it worked first try
@@markmcgehee3864 yeah, even with safe landing i still take tons of damage and get left at like 25% hp, but i did manage it on hard just used up lots of meds probably still die if you dont got enough hp
A couple of notes for those just discovering this: You must complete the main quest Broadcast before you are able to reach the roof top that the first power cable is on, as there is no other way to get there prior. If you are doing this or going back after completing the main quest Veronika, due to events that occur in the story, there will be a handful of zombies on each floor.
"You must complete the main quest Broadcast" OR max out your paraglider get minimum 400 stamina and boost your way up works i even climbed the vnc just after reaching the center using only boosts

I love when I watch a 5 minute video and it takes me 5 hours First couple of times, no problem at all all the way until the second ledge with the grappling hook. Instead of falling straight down I catapulted over the fence somehow. Next I tried jumping from the grappling hook to avoid a repeat. Then I got into the second room but the cord disappeared. Now it won’t let me go into the building at all. I just see the room to land in zoom by.
I exaggerated. It was more like 3 hours. Once I finally got the power cord into the building the third time, it wasn’t that hard. The second grapple, I could just wait until it stopped swinging.
And leave the place go In to the bedroom sit in the bed where the teddy's are and wait it will spawn many of them then the techland poster will change and then it spawns an different blueprint the left finger of glova.

Yeah i honestly feel like techland dropped the ball when they nerfed this and a good number of other easter eggs got nerfed as well from what i have seen and been told.

not rlly if u weren't fighting everything plus in dl2 weapons are not that good just get good at drop kicking zombies when u get the perk unlock, can kill most things by that

After you get the KoreK turn around and go into the back bedroom and lay on the floor by the TV first then go to the dirty mattress behind you and sit on that for a minute once your done and get up wait because after a minute a bunch of electrical beams start shooting at the floor and teddy bears show up after about 5 minutes of this on the wall a black envelope shows up and in that envelope are blueprints to a hand gun cannon thing.
kinda ridiculous for them to implement an easter egg this random only for it to cost you to use it. grind to get it but also grind to use it? this game is a chore

Listen to the music here, it’s a different version of the main theme. Unless it’s a different theme, I know that two places I believe had a similar theme. It’s pretty cool. It repeats indefinitely by itself.

R.I.P. OG Korek charm 2022-2023. Since Community Update #3 (1.13), Korek charm gives players an increased damage, when the weapon is at 15% or less durability.
How much do you want to bet that room is a mock up of a developer lounge at Techland? And they sit around discussing game ideas at those 4 chairs you have to sit in. It’s a nice way to show us what they do without being straightforward about it.
If anyone is watching this recently it does not give weapon durability it gives 25% damage when weapon is low durability which can be useful but sucks tho
tried this today with patch 1.2.0 a few things to say. to those that were lucky you dont have to pay scraps to fix each weapon and to those that got the charm after patch 1.2.0 now have the problem of finding 666 scraps to place the charm into each weapon. i also think that the charm only works once. idk havent tried yet.
2:02 my grappling hook kept snapping to the ground instead of the point and I died like 4 times in a row. Waiting for that elevator is the worst part, it takes forever.
It's not neccessary to to progress through the story. Just climbed my way to the top of the broadcast tower today and glided to this building to get the charm. Just discovered this second part of the map too so no grapple hook required. Just finesse
Finger gun blueprint is in the bedroom, wait for all teddy 🧸 to spawn! After acquiring korek walk down hallway into bedroom, sit on bed, wait for 🐻 to show up and finger gun blueprint shows up on wall In front of you!
in this place, apart KOREK, there is also a blueprint with teddy bears ... but there is something else behind the wall between these rooms but I don't know how to get there
Progress through the main story quests. The story quest where you obtain the grappling hook is called “Broadcast” I believe. The rest you will have to find out yourself.

I found this room without connecting any of the power cables at all!, the secret room doors were wide open and I just walked in! I done all the sitting down that I needed to do and then the electricity came and The Korek spawned after.
So theres more to this I think. Inside the fridge in this room is a bunch of ducks. I found a Evil red duck in safe, apparently its part of an easter egg, but I havent seen anyone find it yet: But I did discover something else in this room! Edit: The whole apartment has a few easter eggs and developer references. kinda neat, worth exploring. Edit 2: I sat on the bed with the teddy bears for a second, and lightning struck and more bears appeared. there has to be more!! Edit 3: These edits are in real time lmao, I sat on the bed, and a bunch more bears appeared. then the techland poster transformed, and then it gave me a blueprint for a ranged weapon called "Left finger of Glova". Description says "This belonged to a mythic creature", costs 369 scraps

You dont need to be especialy in vnc tower. Right after finishing the vnc tower quest lawan takes you to another tall building and for some reason wind helps you get there and refreshes your stamina
I got to this room without knowing what to do in it. I sat in one chair, got bored, checked everywhere and left saying "that's it developers? thanks a lot"

I found out that you can just reapply Korek continuously, you don’t need to apply a different one.

That’s because your supposed to use the grappling hook on the lights allowing you to skip safe landing each level

I parachuted to wrong tower had to go back. Then to not get landing damage I tried to open parachute and released cable lol but got 3rd try

My heart dropped when it said Korek. I really thought I was about to get another Korek machete
They changed it now it gives 40% more damage when weapon durability is under 25%, so it’s no longer an infinite durability charm

Just fyi if you haven't done this in the latest update it now requires 1 rare trophie to make the korek charm so that's the new catch

You do not need the second level of active landing. You can deploy your para glider as soon as you jump off to glide into the room safely
then you disconnect the cable

You need to put in the description that you have to have done the story mission broadcast. Just spent an hour trying to get up that tower

you need to complete broadcast to get to the top of the tower to begin with... and at that point you would already have the grappling hook.
I manage to get on the top of VNC tower without doing "Broadcast"

I have a glitch with my grappling hook where I die instantly when I land with it no matter the height.
Same for me. Just hang there for 10 seconds or so and so the drop and roll

I found this room without connecting any of the power cables at all!, the secret room doors were wide open and I just walked in!

Edit 2: I sat on the bed with the teddy bears for a second, and lightning struck and more bears appeared. there has to be more!!
Edit 3: These edits are in real time lmao, I sat on the bed, and a bunch more bears appeared. then the techland poster transformed, and then it gave me a blueprint for a ranged weapon called "Left finger of Glova". Description says "This belonged to a mythic creature", costs 369 scraps
Someone solved the evil duck one, it gives you a force choke consumable weapon after you find them all
If you go deeper into the room where the bed is and sit on that for a while it will give you the left finger of gloVa
On the other one it says no power what do i do

You dont need to be especialy in vnc tower. Right after finishing the vnc tower quest lawan takes you to another tall building and for some reason wind helps you get there and refreshes your stamina
