- An army of machines is assaulting our precious tanks in Mission 94 of the recently released English Release of Earth Defense Force 6, played on Hard difficulty on PlayStation 5.
Mission 94: Advance of the Machine Army

The enemy Android army is invading town.
These Androids are protected by a drone unit.
We've sent tanks in, but they won't make it in time.
The civilians have yet to be fully evacuated, and we'll suffer major casualties if we don't act.
Any nearby units, head to their location at once.
Hold the Androids back until the tank team arrives.

Low level missile weapons are so bad with their super long lock time (or just the high level ones being too good lol)
And the damage is shit too
i hate the sniper rifle that seems to have a kewl down
You mean the Fang? I actually like to use it against shielded enemies because up until a certain distance it's faster than the enemies can raise their shields, it does considerable damage _and_ penetrates enemies like a shotgun or the Slugger. Downside is the reload after every shot and the "cooldown" you mentioned which locks you in place for a second or so. But you can skip that if you double-tap the "switch weapons" button real quick. You'll still have the reload time but you won't be locked in place at least.
@@cenorexia Nah, I mean both ranger and fencer missiles weapons(except FORK/MLRA/Arm Hound maybe), if not fully upgraded to have like
@@yuriyui I was replying to CreatorsFreedom who mentioned the Sniper rifle with a cool down (it's sometimes a bit confusing on UA-cam to see who replied to what). That's why I mentioned the Fang.
Regarding Kulullu / Kraken I like to take the Lysander because of the same reason I sometimes take the Fang: The bullet speed is so high, that they cannot raise their shields quick enough. Weapons with penetration effect don't penetrate shields, no. But if two Kulullu are standing behind each other, you can sometimes take both out with one shot of the Fang 😁
As a secondary I take a shotgun. Once the Kraken / Kulullu is close enough that you can just walk past the shield, you can take them out quickly that way.
I also tried the Air Tortoise and it _does_ work, but only when they are still far away, otherwise it is too dangerous to blow yourself up.

"RNG" in the context of video games usually means "Random Number Generator". Here it refers to the _randomness_ of weapon drops and upgrades. Most of the time you can replace "RNG" with simply "RANDOM" and it'll have the same meaning.
