well, in todays modern times any male who has all these above green flags will be seen as weak, a looser, and a doormat to be used and abused and rejected by modern wahmen.
1. Can turn brain off with him - Not sure what that means.
2. Has a vision for himself - Agree.
3. Communicates kindly - Partially agree. Communication must be harsh if any one spouse leaves the kitchen with the stove on or drives drunk.
4. Sexual discipline - Agree.
5. He brings out the best in you - Disagree. Each human must try to improve themselves. That is why we marry adults and not children.
6. Does things that improve your life - Agree.
7. Has clear intentions with you - Agree.
8. Not afraid to talk about the future - Agree.

@@pmaitrasmI’m a male and I agree with all of this but I’d like to add unto the communication bit. I think men shouldn’t be afraid of communicating their frustrations or concerns. But the language in which we as men should use should be kind/respectful in nature. I don’t think it’d be appropriate to call a spouse names or any derogatory terms even when upset or not. When it comes to the tone in which we as men communicate in I believe as long as it isn’t yelling and the tone is reasonable for the situation then it’s completely fine. But I see nothing wrong with having a more stern tone if the situation calls for it either.
If a man can’t even communicate effectively and honestly with his wife, then in no way is that same man gonna be able to communicate effectively against someone who is threatening his wife.
And for all the single ladies out there, hoping for a good man that you imagine marrying. Ask yourself this question, what type of woman would you imagine that man marrying? Now do the dirty work and become that woman

@@mycroftholmes8261 its so important, cause people with bad intentions can take notes for more red flags, where opposed to learning about green flags leaves little to no room for the negatives
I always tried to express that I was on her side, that I supported her in her goals, and that we're a team toward the future.
My first wife blocked my goals, called me a doormat, and decided she didn't want to be married anymore.
My second wife appreciated me especially after her previous husband had blocked all her goals.
So your her kind of doormat i guess. Onless you changed then I am sorry.
That's how it works. Marriage is the end of the relationship. Once a woman gets you to concede (marry or p whip you), she loses all interest and moves on to the next guy to conquer. The key is to be 30 percent "nice" and 70 percent a man.

Who an unreliable and would flake the moment everything is not perfect.
Then there are also women who are not like that.
My husband is all of this. I love him so much! I literally became my best version, I upgraded my life and character in any way possible. I'm so grateful. 🥰
I'm so blessed to say my husband is all of these. Number 4 is especially huge. Ladies, do not settle for these boys who follow hundreds of half-nude models on IG and gaslight you into thinking it's normal. There are real men out there who will prioritize you and treat you with dignity and respect. Settle for nothing less!

Oh my God this one boy i was talking to..though he says he likes me i always felt something sneaky about him and and mind you we were only chatting...and with time his behaviour got sneakier and i felt that even in chats and after sometimes he followed me on instagram and i saw his following there are some half naked girls he was following..i don't want to judge him or anyone but i was sure he was not for me..and i began to distance myself from him...our connection begins with chat ends with chat..we never met each other...and i think it was for best..

Yes, my man has all these green flags too - I love him! He suffered a covert narcissistic wife's abuse for 18 years, I suffered my perilous narcissistic husband's abuse for 14 years... And now we're so happy to find out that yes, happiness exists.
He still sometimes has some 'sadness' short episodes, and to me its clearly echo from the past - but with my support he's getting better and better.🤗🤗🤗

I’ve been all of these things for my whole life… 6’2”/eyes of blue, as well, I was married to the most amazing woman,have 2 wonderful kids… but she passed from breast cancer almost 20 yrs. ago, but I don’t know that life will give me the opportunity to find that kind of unconditional love again in this life time… Where are all the good women living in there sacred femininity? Or did they give up as well?

I hear about so many negative traits and experiences these days that I wonder if a good healthy relationship is a thing, but clearly, it is. They exist. You just don't know them. Take it from a guy who doesn't like many people. There are always good and kind goys but they usualy wont start any conversation with you.

Ok, as a man, I've been watching you, Jillz, for a good while, mostly for clear cut advice and guidance on exploring my feminine side, but also, I've seen red flag videos, green (like this), qualities and such, and honestly, videos like this helps me out in ways I hadn't thought about because I'm always focusing on just improving so many new things to better myself from when I was at rock bottom many years back. That said, I did get quite a lot of constructive things to pay attention to, while acknowledging those that I check off on, based on past relationships and other kinds of relationships I have. I'll give examples and something for me to look back on when I come back to this video to give myself perspective on how far I could come in time. Without further ado:
#1: I've been told I'm easy to talk to and that I've made past partners feel special, so, I think I'm good to go there, even though it's been a long time since being in a committed relationship.
#2: this one's harder for me, because I'm unable to pursue career aspects due to my Autism disability, however, in life, I've been trying to focus on living simply in the here and now but I do have aspirations to improve myself in ways to become my best self (losing weight, getting in shape, getting more active and healthier, learning on ways to be better) so, I don't know if it's green or red for me.
#3: Ok, this, I gotta work on. I've been guilty about verbally losing my cool, although I have tried to put the brakes on, so to speak. Solid point!
#4: I've gotten a lot better with that through understanding and age and maturity and just respecting women overall and their autonomy. Sure, I got my hormones but I refuse to pressure sexual things onto my partner.
#5: I can't tell you, in both romance and friendships, how many women in my life have told me that I made them better and that I help them. This one, I consider a high ranking honor.
#6: Ok, now, this one, I pride myself on generosity. And, as far as it improving quality of life of those that matter to me, I enjoy doing things, say, to help my grandmother out that she never asks me to do, like taking out the garbage from her apartment, getting her Tylenol if she's in pain and it being after a certain amount of time since she took others last and even just treating her or both of us to certain things like a cherry pie from the grocery store or food from a favorite restaurant we agree on. With a romantic partner in the future, I know I got this one ready to go for her.
#7: clear intentions, definitely. I'm not one for mind games, especially having such happen to me in brutal fashion in the past. But, I do try to keep it timely and not being rushy or pushy about the future, which brings me to number 8.
#8: this one, I've talked about a lot with my last partner, even though, sadly, it couldn't happen. Basically, we talked about the whole 9 yards over the years with each other. So, I'm not afraid but like I said in the previous part, I like to keep it timely appropriate, and according to mutual love over time.
Bravo, a man who can introspect is a great man. I hope you'll meet a great woman.

There are so many women that I know that do value these qualities in men, but it makes it easier to know that they’re not the one for you if they don’t seem to value any of these things you may bring to the table. I do all that, really without even thinking about it, and still get the "I don't feel the spark/magic/butterflies..." speech after 2 or 3 months. They say I'm not boring, just lose feelings or something. Guess I pick poorly.
Just take your time, no rush in locking anyone down for the sake of not being alone. The right person will shine brighter than the others. I've been married for 10 years now and my wife and I have the same spark we had when we first met. Look for a partner that share the same values and similar interests and someone that could be or is your best friend. Also, be sure to progressively be the best version of yourself and they will come.
Dating is a struggle rn so this is helpful 😊

I know this video is targeted toward women seeking men, but as a man, I’m so grateful you ended up on my page. I’m 25 and I haven’t dated since I was in undergrad, so when I started dating again this year, I was really worried that I may not be a good boyfriend, especially since my own insecurities ruined my last relationship. While I can’t say I have all of these green flags, hearing your examples, I think I have definitely improved since my last relationship ended 4 years ago. And more importantly, for the flags I don’t have, you mentioned concrete things I can work on to ensure I treat my current partner right. As a man (m18), some of my green flags for women are:
1.: she shows interest in me and is willing to put energy into a relationship (I don't want it to be one-sided, where only one of us is investing their energy (and time), while the other just complies/ is dragged along)
2.: I can have fun with her and be myself (feel like I'm where I belong), but also talk/discuss about deep, meaningful topics
3.: She is open and willing to improve/ learn
4.: kindness (very important)
5.: positivity (she doesn't play victim to gain my attention)
Keep in mind, that there is much more to a relationship, than just some green flags. Also they differ from man to man. See this just as a rough overview.
And please don't play "hard to get". This will lower your chances tremendously.

Hi Jillz! I discovered your channel recently and love your thoughts and advice. I already know how strongly I feel about my partner's green flags, but I totally agreed with the priorities in your list and he meets each and every one! Especially anticipating my needs and naturally helping me be in tune with my highest, most loving self. I might say another green flag is everything felt "easy," especially early on. Not to say there aren't obstacles or difficult talks that can happen, but you shouldn't be pulling teeth to get a text from him. Or even having a more internal struggle of trying to identify your feelings for him. If he's causing you angst and uncertainty, it aint it. I've always said that falling in love with my partner is the easiest thing I've ever done. Happy to say we'll be celebrating our anniversary in a couple of weeks 💜

I noticed that a man can have all these 8 green flags except one and suddenly he is cast out as a potential man for a woman to date. In my case it was: you are all fine except..........You are so fantastic except..........I can understand you but..........I can see what you mean but you know I am looking for........................And so on. But what had happened was that she dated someone else and after some long while she contacted me and wanted to return. I reminded her what I lacked and suddenly it was OK with her. My response was: there are NO returns, and NO deposits, NO reclaims.

As a man who holds himself in high esteem I’d like to assure you that your assumption that those proper men don’t lie, especially with their partner, is correct.
It’s not enough to not entertain the men you don’t want, they’ll still linger and try to check in with you and you know the intention they’ll bring with them. You have to drive them and keep them away, and a usually a firm “NO” will do that.
Well maybe your the kind of girlfriend it helps to lie to because your awful otherwise. I do believe in being honest with people who have earned that right. Its not given to everyone and you should lie to some people. Lie to all that want nothing good from you lie to people who does not have your best interest at heart. As a guy this helped me too. I saw some points that I can work and improve upon.
The guy who claims to love me has all of these traits but that "you like what you become in his presence" one, I only agree with half of it. He's a lil shy, and not talkative at all, and when I'm being my chatty self (which is almost all the time) sometimes I feel so chatty comparing to him about how much I talk. I am the same kind of man, I just can't talk with people it's crazy. I need the person to guide me with that, I need to feel safe which seems kinda feminine lol, but then I can spread my wisdom, kindness and critical thinking. I don't know if I will find a girl that can helps me with that and not just feel like I am a weirdo that can't speak...

And also being a shy myself I can surely say that shy people are the best and have so much to offer the world :)

This is so true but I want you to know something additional. My ex boyfriend had almost all of these but even if someone talks about the future and tells you that he loves you, you gotta look at his actions. Sometimes guys are so motivated by their future and goals that they don’t really have time to be in a relationship with you, and that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love you, it just means that at the moment you have different plans and places to be
you can't find someone who has everything well set just either make sure to regulate that your plans go together or leave before its causes emotional damage.
In my experience, derailing my life plans for a woman doesn't end well. I've experienced a major setback in my own life by bringing a relationship up to equal priority with my goals. Granted, I chose a woman who didn't know who she was or what she wanted, and I think if I can find one who does, then being more flexible with my plans should be less risky. I want to align my life around a central vision, even if it's a partner's (I don't mind playing support to a remarkable woman, but unless I can find her, I'm just gonna stay focused on being a remarkable man), but most people in their early 20's don't have one so I gotta align around my own. It's tricky.

Another Green Flag - DO YOU HAVE A STRONG BOND? Do you love spending time with him? Do you tell your closest friends good things about him? Are you honest with yourself about loving him?
Everyone on social media always talks about what does the guy bring to the table. Girls. Remember! It is a relationship. It goes both ways. It is not “qualities” only here. You gotta have chemistry. You gotta truly connect with the person on a deeper meaningful level.

1. Me, me, me - it's about me, because he can make me relax...
2. Has a vision for himself, he has goals, etc - ok, this is legit. Only concerning thing that he needs to be a leader. Strong independent woman or man should be a leader? Decide.
3. Communicates kindly when the couple is in an argument. "even in these tougher moments". Yes, the woman also needs to keep her cool. Not only the man. This is about again...how he should behave even though the woman doesn't behave similary.
4. Sexual discipline. This should be the body count in women's lives. If she's over 10, forget her. Likewise if a man can't keep his D in the pants, forget him.
5. He brings out the best in you...me, me, me again. You need to bring the best out of you. Not him. He can work as a catalyst, but not the engine itself.
6. Does things to improve your life. That's what relationships should exist in the first place. I agree.
7. Ha clear intentions. Absolutely 100% true.
