    I came across your vlog site earlier today and am glad I did. At age 72 with a bad back, I'm no longer able to garden at all much less like I use to. I am deriving much joy from your gardens as you garden the way I did! I wish you many happy hours among your flowers. 🌷🌷🌷🌷

    Beautiful Japanese anemones.
    It’s a great feeling when we have gone round the garden removing and refreshing things wherever necessary. That makes the space more inviting and it also motivates us to garden more. Thanks for sharing👏🏾

    You have such a gorgeous and relaxing garden! I totally love it. The pink anemone is the most beautiful color pink I think I have ever seen! Pink is my favorite color! Invasive or not I must get some next spring, it's so pretty! I wrote it's name down and also the geranium you talked about. Wish you were my neighbor, no one on my block gardens. The guy right next door to me wants to cover his entire front yard with cement so that he can park cars and trucks all over it! The people on the other side is renting. The whole yard is covered in mulch and in the summer they have 3 to 5 feet tall weeds growing all over it. Twice this summer the city came buy and gave them a warning to get rid of the weeds. So not only do I not have neighbors that joyfully plant beautiful things in their yard but they have to be forced to pull the ugly weeds! The people across the street have their whole yard covered in red mulch that has faded. There are 5 foot volunteer elm trees that have been eaten up by elm beetles, not very pretty! I'm hoping that if I just keep adding beautiful shrubs and flowers in mine maybe it will rub off someday! End of my rant lol! Jill

    • @mercury_rising
      @mercury_rising 3 роки тому +1

      I feel your pain. My neighbour just paved his entire front yard to park rather than using his garage! Concrete jungle over there. The other neighbour doesn’t do anything to his yard and has blackberry bushes that are starting to come over the fence!!!

    • @SoilandMargaritas
      @SoilandMargaritas  3 роки тому +3

      Oh no, I am sorry, I do have to say, once in a while I do bring goodies (flowers and food) to my neighbors, and they mentioned how they wish they could grow them... sometimes they do need a little push to start their own thing.

    • @Ultima771
      @Ultima771 3 роки тому

      @@mercury_rising it is a bummer to be surrounded by concrete and untended yards! The people kitty corner from me has 16 cars, trucks and food wagon's all over their front yard and they take up two houses worth of parking. It it illegal here to park on your lawn but the city has become so lax in driving around and finding violators! America is going downhill so fast!
