It was disappointing what they did to Liz from going back to Tom and not evolving her relationship with Red. So many more scenarios could have been used.

You said of Liz she's willing to grow, to forge her own path.... I can't see that, all I see, she grows her anger and hate, and let go these emotion at more and more high intensity. But yes she always came back to Red, because she loves him...maybe, but ultimately she isn't capable of accepting her own love for him.
@Ks-101father-daughter doesn’t fit the way they bonded and the physical closeness they displayed in the early seasons. The writers left it open to evolve and the two actors knew this. He’s not her father.

They had a GOLDEN GOOSE with this show, but then they threw it away when Megan left. Their ratings plummeted when Liz was killed. They could’ve shortened it to 7-8 seasons (bc a lot of stuff has been filler anyway) and Megan could’ve been done at the same time as everyone else. But no. They ruined it. I haven’t watched it since her departure bc I have zero interest anymore since this show was built on the FOUNDATION of their relationship. I’m waiting for the series finale and that’s it! ✌🏻
