@@cookiecrumble4355 Oh, James Spader is an incredible actor, so of course I did watch S6 & s7, even if the writing is largely disappointing. But S7 isn't the end I was referring to, what I meant is that I'm hoping they'll team up in the end of the series, not just the end of a season. Looks like we won't get any real answers until the very last episode of the entire series. The problem here is that the main writer only planned out 3 to 4 seasons when he first pitched the show, thinking that that's the max he'll ever get, but then Spader signed on, it became a huge success, and was great for 2 seasons, but then they had no material for 8 seasons, so they stretched and messed up the writing. Because of those first 2 seasons though, I'd still like to see how the show was supposed to end.
@@pearlsandstars829 first 3 seasons were great... then they kept changing the writers around for episodes and trying to appease all fans with different clues for every theory. They supposedly have the endgame planned from the beginning but how they get there is all over the place. I just want lizzington to prevail in the end.

I do think that Liz was supposed to ditch Tom and get with Ressler, who represents this law abiding, cookie-cutter, "normal" way of life that she missed while she was growing up and claims she wants in the beginning of the series, but by the end she was supposed to choose Red, and all he represents. We'll see if they're brave enough to end it that way.

i'm at season 6 (spoiler) i never for once believed the paternal arc of season 5 and i am so relieved with the whole impostor arc. honestly i'm not as confident now as i was in season 3, but i'm still hoping this ship to be canon one way or another (even though i know liz dies in s8). :')

0:38 I've been wondering why that clip of Red fits the stripping clips so much. It's just him with the camera rotating. Now, I realize, it's because he's looking directly at the camera. It feels intimate, like the stripping. Damn, every day I find something awesome about this edit.
This series is going to die if they don’t get new writers soon. Liz is stuck in her constant gullibility and “I hate Red-I love Red!” cycle only to find out that (surprise, surprise) Red is *always* right in the end; they’ve brought in characters that make the plot more confusing than interesting, and the potential for Lizzington romance is pretty much quashed by now. They need to rewrite Liz or force a confrontation to sort out her characterization, tie this whole convoluted plot up in a cohesive way, and just tell us who the hell Red is before they lose the rest of their dwindling viewer base and their chance for a good ending with it.
