- Come hang out with at Aquatica waterpark in Orlando! They have reimagined on of their waterslides and they've invited us to preview it! Tassie's Underwater Twist has been reimagined and now has projections inside the superbowl where you can see different Australian scenes as you twist by! There's nothing better every Spring than seeing that Tim is headed to a waterpark and hearing his cheers while going down a slide or a ride, then you know summer is fast approaching and I look forward to hearing the pure joy in his voice every year!
I was blown away at how immersive this slide is. To go through that short dark tunnel to come out into the "bowl" and see all the see life swimming around was amazing!! I wish more parks would do things like this!!

I’d like to take a moment to be impressed with Tim’s camera work. It cannot be easy holding it steady in a water slide let alone turning it forward and back so we get a great view of the ride. I do look forward to seeing the whole family go 😁🧡🖤🧡

Spring is just starting here in Tennessee and i can't wait for summer, been cold long enough😅 I smile so much lately watching your vlogs😊 👏😃 Definitely needed a smile atleast a little on this very bad day for me. My Dad car is broken not in shop yet a 1995 Mustang, and he used my Truck a 1999 F150 Ford to go to work. We keep them maintenance checked every few months to😮, so surpringly. Something sparked under the hood and got FIRE 🔥 my Truck is gone, Firetruck 🚒 had to put fire 🔥 out. The whole hood area and dash board and steering wheel, door and window on driver side and some of the seat melted all gone. Thank God my Dad is fine and got out in time, barely😮 who knows what would have happened if i was driving, i have disabilities and a Service Dog, it's hard to get in and out of vehicles for me and my leg😢 Anyway bad day. Stuck at home for a while. Stuck with fields and woods around me in Tennessee and no taxies come out here. We'll have to ask friends or family to drive us around when they not working 😢 until some how find money to get another vehicle. Anyway, THANKS FOR ALL YOU SHARE 😊 I needed this to forget my trouble for a few minutes 😊 Y'all Stay Safe. TAKE CARE ❤😊
if you're wanting to sound Australian, we pronounce Tassie as Tazzy - short for Tasmania which is the state island off the bottom of the state of Victoria. Tassie is a beautiful place that has 48% of the entire state reserved for World Heritage forests. It also has a very complex political history.
Canadian here, thank you for that. When I heard the ride was Tazzy, I thought of Tasmainin Devil due to the spin of the bowl. Perhaps too much Bugs Bunny influence in my childhood and not enough National Geographics. 🤣

You really should come to the real Shark Bay in Western Australia Tim! It’s far more spectacular than this ride could ever portray 🥰 We’re just lucky to have such pristine untouched waters so full of life. We don’t need theme parks to entertain us when we have this paradise on our doorstep 😉💕

We came to Aquatica Orlando on Saturday, March 16th, just a couple of days ago, and we had a BLAST!
Despite the lines for the slides being a bit long, I got to experience Roa's Rapids 3 times, Reef Plunge (the aqua green tube slide with the blue manta rays, fishies, and waves), Loggerhead Lane, Whanua Way TWICE (the blue tube slide and the pink tube slide), Walkabout Waters 3 times, and last but NOT least, KareKare Curl.
And the chicken strips were REALLY good, even though I didn't have any sauces for them.
BEST DAY EVER!
We hope that happens again VERY soon.

I flew in early to Orlando, avoiding the Blizzard at home in Colorado. I made my first visit to Epcot. I was in tears with the beauty. I felt a sense of comfort in Orlando having watched your channel for 8 years. I kept hoping I'd have a TRACKER sighting in Orlando❤

Tassie's Underwater Twist is the most beautiful slide I've ever seen--will definitely be paying Aquatica a visit when I finally do that Orlando trip in a few years!

Probably the first successful example of immersive theming elements added as part of a waterslide. Excited to see more water parks get creative.

We went to Aquatica this past summer and loved it! Our favorite spot was the Kids Cove area. Our 4 and 6 year old spent so much time there.
I haven't done the NEW Tassie's Underwater Twisters, Taumata Racers, Ray Rush, Walhalla Wave, and the Omoka Rocka slides yet, though.
I will on our NEXT visit to Aqautica Orlando.

We will be trying out Aquatica for the first time next week. I got free tickets to go to the park before the end of the month by doing a radiothon donation to Give Kids the World. So far we have just done both Disney waterparks.

Don’t tell anyone but I keep projectors in my toilet bowl. It looks the same on the outside but after you flush you see sea life from the Hudson River.

So might be a stupid question but I e never been to a water park because I’m blind without my glasses. Do you just walk around the park with no shoes? Cuz I would think that would be hot. If not, where do your shoes go?

I worked as a lifeguard on this slide and smaller kids got stuck in the slide very often,we’d have to yell down and give instruction on how to move to the end shoot. Makes me kinda nervous that they can’t see into the bowl anymore 😭
how strict is the sneaker thing? i ave a medical condition that require water shoes orflip flops at all times
Just looked on the website just for curiosity's sake, and it says that most areas allow water shoes, but some rides don't. This slide must be one that doesn't. That's why there is a sign.
Did they get the Commerson dolphins from Sea World?
For the true Australian experience you'd want to go down the bowl clockwise....

It is kind of disappointing that water parks and some parks do the bare minimum of handicap accessibility because all the rides look fine
I know right? It’s like they think people with issues won’t want to ride or cannot ride. I could ride most of them fine but I couldn’t do the stairs. (In a wheelchair but I can stand long enough to transfer)
