@@Supperdude9 she was powered up for the main game, though that could be said for all the playable characters and is why Okina canonically wins against you in stage 6. in the extra stage Okina notes that the gap between seasons (the special shot type all the characters use for the extra stage) should actually be weakening Cirno as it's the point where fairies are weakest, and Cirno still manages to win that fight anyway. in terms of weird bursts of power Cirno vs Utsuho is probably the more standout example as according to Zun (I can't remember where I read this but I've definitely seen the claim that he's said this in multiple places) Cirno isn't so much a winter fairy (despite Cirno's own belief) but actually a fairy manifest from the concept of a sudden chill on a hot summer day (this is probably why Cirno is associated with summer in HSiFS), as a result Cirno is actually more powerful when she's in a hot area meaning that the intense heat of Utsuho's reactor was probably massively buffing Cirno.
Not gonna lie, if it wasn't for the setup that rain of projectile looks quite effective. Same for the big ones, if they were not jump-throught it would be a nice trap. I love how this boss is designed with ideas good on paper but bad (as in play in the player's advantage) on practice. Typical Cirno xD
i mean, it has in consideration both cirno, including the meme of Icicle fall on easy and spellcard rules, you must always give the option to be beatable and not put impossible walls
Cirno seems pretty cool here, all things considered. Though for an ice fairy, she seems to have no chill. She seems like the type to give Sakuya the cold shoulder.
I feel like every boss kind of haves that attack you can exploit every rotation for some yummy graze, that’s how i entered each boss fight with full health and left with full health.
My only complaint is she doesn't have a stage 2 that turns the soundtrack into Cirno's Perfect Math Class. Really double up on them meme remixes there :P
You know? Cirno actually defeated me like 51 times While the other bosses defeated me 2-10 times Cirno was a hella nightmare for me sad that I couldn't beat her again in boss rush
