Yeah, especially when 1000 Knives is one of the most broken skills in the game giving you full invulnerability during the skill while also granting you graze for any attacks that pass through you, allowing you to keep using 1000 Knives. A no hit using 1000 Knives would've been easy

We came up with completely different methods for Marisa's master spark. I just stand directly under it, and right before she shoots I move in the opposite direction she's facing. She stops attacking as soon as she notices you're behind her.

Just somehow finished this challenge, video was huge help, and by the God how the fuck do you make it look so easy!? Remilia timings are so brutal, I have no consistency with them. Also that trick with hovering over Marisa's Final Spark was simply insane, where did you even get it from. I've gained another ton of appreciation for your work
@@justRICHTOFEN It's been awhile, but, if I remember correctly, orb hitboxes are a bit weird. They aren't really orbs, they are kinda dynamic and change as they fall down, but overall maintain kinda rectangular shape; wide, but flat. You can't avoid them by simply standing on ground, because they overlap completely on horizontal axis, but if you jump into them as they fall, then there's a gap somewhere at the level Remilia hovers at, which gets easier to squeeze through if you jerk slightly along the slope of their fall, on top of hitbox of the lower sphere. It's pretty hard, and fact Gellot gets it right multiple times in a row still amazes me.
Recently purchased this game as it was on sale, plus missing the Metroidvania vibes. Was not disappointed but damn this was difficult. You gotta "Git Gud" here but you. You, it's like a walk in the park for you. :O

If you don't know, @I R Baboon, Metroidvania games refer to a specific sub-genre of action platformer games. They're marked with labyrinthine map layouts, permanent power ups that need to be purchased or obtained by defeating bosses, and are usually 2-d. Mega-man games are closely related to metroidvania games in that they tend to follow the trend of 'power up by defeating boss' and 'labyrinthine levels' even if the mega-man games use single stages instead of an intereconnected maze. Given that the game is intentionally designed to fall within the Metroidvania spectrum, I should hope it reminds you of those sorts of games.

Just somehow finished this challenge, video was huge help, and by the God how the fuck do you make it look so easy!? Remilia timings are so brutal, I have no consistency with them. Also that trick with hovering over Marisa's Final Spark was simply insane, where did you even get it from. I've gained another ton of appreciation for your work
I've been trying so hard. Remi in the only one that gives me trouble. How do you dodge her orbs? When i stand in between them, I still get hit.
@@justRICHTOFEN It's been awhile, but, if I remember correctly, orb hitboxes are a bit weird. They aren't really orbs, they are kinda dynamic and change as they fall down, but overall maintain kinda rectangular shape; wide, but flat. You can't avoid them by simply standing on ground, because they overlap completely on horizontal axis, but if you jump into them as they fall, then there's a gap somewhere at the level Remilia hovers at, which gets easier to squeeze through if you jerk slightly along the slope of their fall, on top of hitbox of the lower sphere. It's pretty hard, and fact Gellot gets it right multiple times in a row still amazes me.
I know absolutely nothing about Touhou but this seems like a fun universe.

Well, it is a metroidvania game...
If you don't know, @I R Baboon, Metroidvania games refer to a specific sub-genre of action platformer games.
They're marked with labyrinthine map layouts, permanent power ups that need to be purchased or obtained by defeating bosses, and are usually 2-d.
Mega-man games are closely related to metroidvania games in that they tend to follow the trend of 'power up by defeating boss' and 'labyrinthine levels' even if the mega-man games use single stages instead of an intereconnected maze.
Given that the game is intentionally designed to fall within the Metroidvania spectrum, I should hope it reminds you of those sorts of games.
