Calgary Stampeders @ Montreal Alouettes Game Day Video Post - Saturday, July 6th, 2024

As like in past seasons during the Calgary Stampede that the Calgary Stampeders start off July by hitting the road for the next few weeks and it's no different for the 2024 CFL Regular Season. After an overtime thriller win 22-19 at home last week over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the Calgary Stampeders improve to 2-1 on the season but will be facing a tough test against the Montreal Alouettes on the road who are 4-0 on the season and defending Grey Cup Champions.
Historically the Calgary Stampeders struggle in Montreal partly due to the cross country travel and time difference if kickoff is early in the afternoon on Eastern Time but that won't be the case since the game will start at 5PM Mountain or 7PM Eastern. Calgary Stampeders will be without some key players in Demerio Houston and Dedrick Mills as well to make this a tougher match-up on paper but that's why we play the games. It was an upset that the Montreal Alouettes won the Grey Cup last year so an upset is possible for the Calgary Stampeders but won't be an easy one.
After this game the Calgary Stampeders will be in Winnipeg to take on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Friday night to wrap up their season series already and see how everything break down after Week 5 in the CFL for the 2024 Regular Season.
