My heart is breaking, you are so upset. I had twin boys, one was born sleeping. The other is now 30. This song hit hard the first time I heard it. Now I am so grateful he put out on song that other artists wouldn’t. It’s he and his wife’s experience with the first pregnancy. They now have two beautiful sons. James says he doesn’t need a therapist as he gets it all out in his music. I recommend “ No Bravery “ James was in the army, the footage you see is his own. It’s a song we all need to hear with so much war going on around the world..Beautiful reaction, I hope you feel stronger soon. I had to subscribe 👍
My first was Stillborn. She was a full term beautiful little girl completely healthy and the cord got wrapped around her neck and we lost her. She would be 39 now. She is buried about 4 miles from my house. Her name was Heather Nicole . It is something you think about the rest of your life. Great song but very sad. He is good at that.
Here I am watching a reaction to a song I've not heard before in the middle of my lunch break at work trying to hold the tears back. My wife and I lost our daughter the day she was born, and this song has taken me to a place where pain and love exist hand in hand.
My grandson was stillborn, and as much as it killed me I can't even imagine how much my son died inside that day. Even though this is about a beautiful little girl I see Samuel running in the sunlight ❤️❤️
My wife miscarried 7 times before we finally had our beautiful daughter, Jessica, in 1992. Since then we have had another daughter and two boys. All have now graduated from University and have successful careers. We know exactly what the cause of the 7 miscarriages was (it's called a chromosome translocation). I remember after one miscarriage, we visited the hospital and we had to sit in the same waiting room as happy heavily pregnant mothers and then to add to the pain, when my wife entered the consultancy room, the nurse asked her how many months pregnant she was...the nurse hadn't even read her notes!! The moral of our story is NEVER GIVE UP!!! Beautiful reaction you two by the way.
What powerful lyrics. This song always makes me cry. These lyrics hit home: "We never should've picked a name 'Cause now she has a face And now no matter what we do No one will take her place..."
Such a good point you make that we've never heard a song about miscarriage like this, yet it is such a painful reality for so many thousands of women and the men who love them.
For some reason, this song hits me a lot harder than even Blunt's "Monsters". I cry every time I hear this-and I have heard it over 10 times now. Maybe it's the fact that a life never even got started, as opposed to his dad having lived a long life at the time of "Monsters".
Bless you both. New subscriber from Ohio. James writes his way through trauma and we all can recognize or know someone who has experienced this same feeling. We are not as isolated and alone as traumatic events can make you feel. Peace, love and blessings to all.
You came up in my recommended and I’m so glad you did. The first reaction I saw of yours was Monsters and then this. James is a remarkable song writer. He isn’t afraid to express himself through his music with his life experiences and that’s what makes him an amazing musician. I have 2 angel babies and when I watch this video it hurts but is also so beautiful. I love your genuine reactions. You have a new subscriber.
I subscribed today after watching your reactions to this and monsters. I am about to watch your other James reactions, the boy has away with the most heart felt words. He is so sincere and genuine about opening up his real world issues.
Bless you both, this is a hard song to listen to… yet done so beautifully and with his amazing vocals. It’s a loss we never forget, and my heart goes out to James and everyone who has lost a child, as we also have. Yes, I too hate and love this song ❤❤❤
Hi. I've just found you guys. I'm over the water in London and have to say, I'm loving all your reactions... Keep doing what you're doing as you brighten my day so thank you. As to this reaction, keep strong- there aren't any or enough words - I truly feel your anger and sorrow and utter helplessness. We keep going through though eh! I spent nearly 30 years in the British armed forces, pretty much thought I'd seen every kind of heartache, and joy too at times, out there - until... Anyway it doesn't go away but you learn to cope with help of friends family and each other - little steps and we'll all get there X
It's a lovely song but so very raw. Don't know how he got through the song after he and his wife went through that experience. They went on to have two more children but as he says, nothing can replace the one they lost. No need at all to apologise for the emotional response, it must have that effect on everyone.
We also lost 2 pregnencies (twins and solo). It is something that You never forget. We do have 2 beautiful children now, We are living our lives, but I still often think "what if.." This song is so on point. My wife also was blaming herself. And there is nothing that can take away even a little bit of that pain. That is devastating.. It's so hard to explain emotions that go trough my mind when this song comes up..
Music should make you feel and no one does it better. This song is amazing from the father’s perspective. I too cried through this again for the loss of my 2grandkids that were lost to miscarriages many years ago. I can listen to this over and over again because I don’t have a gravesite to visit.
We lost our first daughter over 20 years ago (to miscarriage), though I still remember her, this song brought her home more strongly than before. Thank you James Blunt and you guys for reacting.❤
Songs like this help us to come to terms with one of the worst things that can happen to parents-to-be. We can listen and say, "yes, it feels just like that. thanks for seeing us".
I have had to work very hard to keep this song away for my better half We lost a child dew to miss carage First time hearing this tuck me so long to get through I know this song will completely break her if she hears it
Praying for you both... It's a hard song... But maybe it will also be a healthy release... No one is to blame... You are both beautiful people... You have a new subscriber
Read somewhere that he said he has trouble expressing and processing feelings and does it through writing song lyrics, a way of sharing emotions. When it is something that other people have experienced, then it hits deep. If you haven't personally gone through it, the song does a great job of giving an idea of what someone might be going through
i know we are men, and we can never know the pain of a women, who has lost, be patient with your loved one, while they go through it, just support, the day will come in the future
My mom lost my little brother and I’ve never had kids, so she has the pain of burying her child and I have the pain of being completely alone. It’s very sad and deadening every day to be alone but I’ve never had a child OR a wife to lose, so it’s much much harder for people like my mom…to lose someone at a young age, a life that was here the day before.
I feel so sorry for you two, Dub & Peach, just getting inundated with all our sad comments. 😏 But good luck on the channel, you guys are doing great. At least you’re having actual reactions to things, unlike some other boring pointless channels. Even if it’s sometimes sadness like this one, you’re talking it out and being legit.
James Blunt and his wife experience just this, and cr4edit to them/ him for sharing it with his fans. Also credit to you two reactors, this is a very difficult song to listen to. New subscriber.
This song is another very personal song for James. He and wife miscarried a daughter then thankfully went on to have 2 sons. It’s both a tragic and beautiful song at the same time.
If you haven,t heard it,James Blunts song monsters is emotional. Its a song he wrote for his father, who unfortunately was looking at death due to stage 4 kidney failure. In the video he actually sings to his father, and it's brutally emotional to say the least.
Hi folks I think this song is a jewel for anyone who has friends who go through this. This song takes you through the things in their minds a friend may not be aware of. choosing names a mother blaming herself how they "see" their unborn child playing. without this song, a friend would feel speechless in their presence.
Sorry, I was one of those that requested the song. It’s such an emotional song and touching song for all those parents who have had to go through that 💔
My mother lost my sister at about 6½ months. My mother-in-law lost several. Our daughter lost a baby early on and my daughter-in-law lost twins, also early.
James and his wife lost their little girl by miscarriage but went on to have 2 healthy sons. This was his way of dealing with the loss that still lives with them. Love your honest reaction. Love to you both.
The line "it kills me you're trying to take the blame" took me back almost twenty years when my sister miscarried and said the same, that she was sorry. Like most miscarriages nobody is to blame. What's for you, won't go past you ❤
I love this song because it faces it, i had a late miscarriage on my 2nd baby, and the heartbreak is unbelievable...you see your future, its there, they are in it. Until it happened to me, i didn't hear anyone talk about it, then when it did...so many people came out and talked ❤
This song hits home so hard I lost four babies before I had to have a complete hysterectomy I'm not able to bring children as much as I love them I definitely feel his pain
I was carrying twins and lost the little girl mid way. Our son was born healthy and happy 4 months later. 17 years later we took in a young lady who looked so much like my husband and our son that it kind of freaked us out. Interestingly enough, her birthday is the same day the doctor confirmed we lost our little girl. We eventually adopted her and our kids love telling people they're the same age but aren't twins. People get very confused.
This is a very difficult and very emotional one for me. I miscarried my first baby when I was 14 weeks. I had names picked out and had going home outfits and everything and had to return them. My ex-husband who was my boyfriend at the time never talked about the baby passing away so I was pretty much grieving alone. I still blame myself. My angel baby would be 27 if I didn't lose him. I say him because I feel baby was a boy. I still grieve for my baby. 😢
If this song does not hurt you, you ain't human. James Blunt deals with trauma by writing a song about it, guess its his from of therapy. But, the light at the end of dark tunnel is that they have two boys after all this heartache.
I don't understand a word you're saying but thankyou. Janes was singing about his dad because his father had 4 stage kidney disease. He received a diner kidney sometime later.
my guy is fighting those tears is ok brother just let it go I cry too something about James Blunt u guys should check it out Iam Tongi he sing Monster by JB on American idol
appreciate it brother! we dealt with this experience and it was an unexpected song to listen to so it caught us off guard for sure! definitely will check that out!
Dub and Peaches I watch your reaction to monster and this one I must say Peaches you’re pretty much picked up on the song in the first few moments of it you’re pretty sharp.
Its about miscarriage, not about not being able to have a child. My mum had 6 miscarriages before she had me. I am a middle child, so there is 9 years difference between me and my older brother. You completely ruined the video by stopping it all the time. Just wait till it's finished before you speak.

"We should never pick a name, now she have a face" always get me.😢
What powerful lyrics. This song always makes me cry.
These lyrics hit home:
"We never should've picked a name
'Cause now she has a face
And now no matter what we do
No one will take her place..."
It is a beautiful way to celebrate a life that didn't come to fruition. The love, caring, and understanding of the mother he has towards the mom .
Thank you for being you and so vulnerable 😢
Absolutely beautiful ❤
Good reaction! I was tearing up when i first heard this,James Blunt always gets me,love him so much!
Such a good point you make that we've never heard a song about miscarriage like this, yet it is such a painful reality for so many thousands of women and the men who love them.

Pure reaction like all normal people feel don't worry we all feel the same hearing this :).
IT hits so so HARD, Great Reaction
😢...Every Mother's feel the pain 😢.... watching from Australia 🇦🇺...love your reaction 🎉
It hit the deepest parts of our souls. Thank you for the authentic reaction!
Have watched this video many times and I still cry every very time. So glad that James and his wife did go on to have 2 sons.

When people don't have an emotional response to this type of tragedy, they scare me.
Bless you both, this is a hard song to listen to… yet done so beautifully and with his amazing vocals. It’s a loss we never forget, and my heart goes out to James and everyone who has lost a child, as we also have.
Yes, I too hate and love this song ❤❤❤

James is a master in giving emotions 🙌🏻 I always brake with his song “goodbye my lover”
This song is so powerful and respectful, so beautiful ♥♥♥
Bless you both!

Never say sorry for tears, we are all the same and letting emotions out are better than suppressing them 💚🏴
I'm sorry for your loss, so enjoy the babies that you have.
sometimes a song can just do that ❤ very rare but yeah.. probably why this song is requested alot. 😢 One of my favs
you folks have a big hearts and you can see it in your reactions.
Probably the best reaction to this song.
I have had to work very hard to keep this song away for my better half
We lost a child dew to miss carage
First time hearing this tuck me so long to get through
I know this song will completely break her if she hears it
It never leaves you. 25 years ago. 2 boys lost at separate times. 36 weeks and 28 weeks gone. I have 4 beautiful girls now.
I've held my still born baby, that's heart breaking and something I'd never forget.
I’m literally crying lol. This is raw reaction. Love it ❤

You broke my heart. Beautiful reaction. Been there. If this song doesn't make your heart break then there is seriously something wrong with you!!!!
Sorry, I was one of those that requested the song. It’s such an emotional song and touching song for all those parents who have had to go through that 💔
it touched us deeply. we didnt really mention it, but we have had this experience so not knowing what this video was...really hit us hard .
Sorry to hear that ❤. Ive not had that experience and touched me at the thought 😢
A big hug! ❤

Me and my wife losr a baby 14 years ago. I still think about her till this day 😪

Great honest reaction.
Bless you both 😭🇬🇧👍
There’s another one of James Blunt’s songs I think you will like it’s called “ The Greatest”
It's a beautiful but heartbreaking song ❤️💔
The line "it kills me you're trying to take the blame" took me back almost twenty years when my sister miscarried and said the same, that she was sorry. Like most miscarriages nobody is to blame. What's for you, won't go past you ❤
I believe James and his wife went through this.😢 He's an amazing song writer. I feel bad for them both.
You should react to Carry you home. Another good one.
What an amazing song writer James blunt is though
You two, are some of the most real,..of all the reactors, your not actors, just real people
we appreciate that so much honestly, thank you so much from us both
It takes a lot of courage to be this vulnerable in front of thousands of people,..thankyou we appreciate you
