The response to the last question chimed, the frustration and stroppiness that stems from not being heard, being talked over and ignored. Amen to stroppiness, especially as we mature and become bolder. It adds to her allure as a chic, powerful woman.
I would be very intrigued to see you interview John Malkovich. He has a flair for style I think. Your show is something I look forward to. I feel myself completely focused on every word while simultaneously relaxed as if I am on the couch. Brilliant series of interviews, thank you for being so clever and interesting. You have created a uniqueness which I would like to see more of.
Love love loooove Kristin, such a natural beauty. Thankfully not done anything to her beautiful face! She is stunning. Amazing woman & such a talented actress xx
I love this sofa format and series of conversations, especially this one with KST who provides this reflected opinion on fashion from an actress‘s perspective. Very interesting, I enjoyed it a lot.
I'm with Kristin on the white socks - not since childhood have I been able to make them work. And, as a francophile, it was fascinating to hear both of your observations on French fashion. This is one of my favourite sessions so far - brilliant - thank you
I love the questions . I went back to my childhood thinking of the first clothes I had that made a big impression on me. It was in the late 60's and my father was in the merchant navy . He bought me a navy blue tiny mini skirt with a wide white plastic belt , . it had a little white peggy purse attached to it I thought it was the thing ever . 🤩🤣
haaa, I just put my new navy blue cashmere cardi on today, cut, colour ,mother of pearl buttons , sleeves all just right, could be seen as nunnish !!!!! polka dots are very classic too, taking time , finding yourself and showing the world who you are is sublte and is empowering , the picky girls at school are still bitching in the back ground .... let them be sad and inadequate , xx
Not sure I agree with her when she says that French actresses all dress the same in movies. Take a Catherine Deneuve for example - she dresses different in Potiche, Le Dernier Métro, Marcello or Bernadette...It is true though that French actresses' looks are more essential to their careers contrary to English actresses who rely more on acting talent.
That is a pretty great idea. I would totally watch that. Considering the fact that Modigliani's partner and artist, Jeanne Hébuterne, jumped out of a window, eight months pregnant and a day after Modigliani's death, leaving their only other child, Jeanne Modigliani, to be raised by her paternal relatives to become an art historian who went on to write a biography on the father and artist she never got to know, and happened to marry the brother of Italian author Natalia Ginzburg, I imagine it would be a pretty interesting episode.
Why have the guests lie down, hard to see their faces and what they are wearing. An out of the box idea is not always a good idea, only when it is. TY.
Well, it’s called “Fashion Neurosis”, where they dive deep into the guests’ motivations, the “roots”, of their fashion choices. It’s playing off the psychoanalyst’s couch trope and a tongue-in-cheek nod to Bella Freud’s great-grandfather.

Vivienne Westwood also agreed that the fact that the uk wears schools uniforms determines a difference in style to other places that dont ❤

She is such a magnificent actress and an extremely alluring sexy woman. Thank you for this.🥀🥀
I found Kristin snappy and abrupt. I did not know that about her. Good interview, though.
Really? That's not at all my impression. Interesting.
When I was twelve I was utterly terrified God would call me to be a nun.
❤
Why presume she is taking her new husband’s name…..it always surprises me that people do that. I never wanted to change my name

Who thinks up this stuff. . Perhaps next, a long forgotten relative of Modigliani’s partner talking about windows. Not interested.
