I want to be more traditional, but I currently don't have the means to do that. I'm not married and have to support myself, that isn't traditional, but it has to be done.
I don't have someone at home who needs me and when I do find that person it'll take time to get used to having him around. I don't date and haven't slept with anyone, it'll all be very new to me and that would be something I'd have to TRY and get comfortable with. Not everything is going to work for everyone and me and my husband would have to figure our relationship out, find out what works for us and so on.
Relationship take effort, I'm aware of this. I would have to try and so would he. I'm naturally more traditional, but I still have to get by.

What happens when they have kids? Are they really expected to completely split all finances 50/50, even though the man is not making the massive sacrifice of giving his body to the pregnancy, delivery and breastfeeding of the babies? Not gonna lie, i looked for a man to be the main provider. He encouraged me to work on my career and then now that we have kids, they are our main focus and i gladly put my career below the kids bc no career is as important to me as my kids. I will get back to work once i feel it's healthy for my kids. Yeah, it is a massive sacrifice but my husband is also sacrificing his time and energy to provide for us and I'm so grateful to him. I don't understand...gender roles are good, they help the family thrive and be cooperative. It's also based in the biology of how humans come into this world, through the mother, while the father does everything he can to protect that sacred process.
