Lovely video. One night, twelve years ago, after a playing a show on a reservation in northwest US, I met a very sweet, polite and beautiful woman from Kazakhstan. I was completely unfamiliar with that area of the world, it’s people, and what I was already familiar with had completely blinded me. I almost didn’t believe her; I had just seen Borat, sadly- I didn’t make any jokes. I was delighted by what had seemed to be her interest in seeing me again. I had gotten her number and intended to keep in touch with her, but my phone crashed that night and it all became a dream. The show there was packed with enthusiastic, vibrant and joyful dancing but the town was completely desolate before and after the show. What an unforgettable night. I often think of how I hope to see her again, but I think it’ll be pretty unlikely. Ugh! Sweet video. Thanks!

I have enjoyed all your videos, which I've seen. Thank you for your funny, witty, kind portrayals of multi-ethnic dating and relationships. Brothers and sisters? They are Asians. Turkish don't look Asians at all. Have you been adopted by an Asian couple?
@@marcopoloplanner8843 They speak similar language because a bunch of central asian Turkic people headed west and conquered Anatolia one thousand years ago, and also mixed with the local Greeks Persians Arabs etc, but they think their heritage as Turkic, not original Anatolians, and they see central Asia as Ata Yurt(fatherland).
Kazakhstan has common Turkish ancient historical traditions. Drinking kumis (kımız), playing instrument with three double strings (dombra/saz), people's names are pretty common between Turkey and Kazakhstan. Actually the languages are quite similar. We can easily say that Kazakh (Kazaksha) is old and original Turkish language.
Yeah, i think it's similar

Thanks!
Her hair....just... amazing/ magnificent/ gorgeous etc etc!!
О, неплохо! Можно сделать тоже самое и о татарских или башкирских девушках. Хотя по сути это и субъекты РФ, у этих республик глубокие корни и хороший колорит.

Kazakhs are not like Borat, they look like Koreans, but at heart they are like Russians
I have enjoyed all your videos, which I've seen. Thank you for your funny, witty, kind portrayals of multi-ethnic dating and relationships. This one was a bit different- a shade more careful- I like that- not every culture has the same idea of what is funny. All that aside- I met quite a number of Kazkhs when I was in Xinjiang Province of China in 1986. They were equally lovely, definitely a lot more traditional, obviously, but wonderfully intelligent and curious about the outside world. (Things are supposedly terrible there now, tragically!) Thanks, again.
Harry Steel Thank you man, I was one of them that you mentioned, but now I am a Kazakhstan resident. We Kazakh born in Xinjiang(East Turkistan) reserve our culture and language well than others, I think you knew about it.

@@Ekphrasys nope, prove it with factual data, because you seem lost. You talk complete nonsense.
Cossacks and kazakhs are 2 completely different words for different people.
For example in baltic countries word kazUokai means cossacks- which are the russian plain warriors from Don region russia.
While the word kazakai-kazakiečiai means kazakh people- central asian ethnic group that speak turkic language.
These 2 are completely different people. You dont know shit and try to say im wrong. 🤦♂️
In russia we use the word "qazaky" "казаки" for the warrior tribes of don.
And we call "kazakhs" "казахстанское" the native people from central asia. Main difference in letters of "k" and "kh"- "К" и "Х". For the different people.

Borat is a perfect example of some shity Hollywood propaganda. However the main hero itself is a pretty funny and hilarious character. They just shouldnt threw a political context in the movie.
A lot of people don't seem to get that Borat was not making fun of Kazakhstan. It was making fun of how ignorant many Americans are of other countries, especially Eastern ones. He mostly speaks Polish(I speak Polish but American born). The good thing about that movie is it actually made Americans aware Kazakhstan existed and boosted tourism. I plan one visiting one day too. Seems like a beautiful and really under appreciated country.
