Hihi, sure you can only buy the front portion to replace if the box is not spoiled. For my case the back box has one damage screw thread and front has one socket damaged. Thus I replace both parts 😊
hi there, do you know how can I change from a 2-gang switch outlet to two 1-gang switch outlet? planning to change mine to a "sunken" switch outlet, but they only have 1-gang type
Hi, I do not have a video on that but I try my best to explain with word. Assuming when you open your current 2 gang, it looks like time stamp 1:25 in (ua-cam.com/video/7-pEjAjDphw/v-deo.html) You would have to add 3 more wires (L,N,E) And connect to the 2nd 1-gang switch. Your 1st gang will look like timestamp 0:48 in (ua-cam.com/video/bzctnY3BiVw/v-deo.html), each terminal on 1st gang will have 2 wires.
If I’m doing replacement only I can just buy the socket plate for the front portion? Do I need to buy the backing too, the box?
