I miss all of the cast that passed on. Jim reminded me of my dad😢 and Emma was a precious angel. Rip to the the ones the passed on.
So sad to hear the news this morning about Mr. Lloyd-Pack. Thank you for all the laughs; you were so memorable as Owen! Condolences to his family.
I wasn't aware Ms. Chambers had passed away until I saw this clip. Her character was amazing and she added a level of comedy to the 'Vicar of Dibley' which was unapproachable. May she rest in peace. I absolutely love this show!
Didn’t Emma chambers pass away after this. Cause Hugo would have been devastated. That his wife is no longer with him. Was watching this show last night. The Wimbledon joke was priceLess. Lol. A very talented cast.
@@grellnoble1560 That's right - she was still alive when this was made
Oh yes almost like after the third episode.
It's sad to think that all except Geraldine and Hugo are the only remaining characters alive. RIP to all that have gone. You bought us so much joy. ❤
R.I.P John Bluthal AKA Frank pickle. 1929 - 2018
RIP
Shall I minute that? What a legend.
A biggest legacy he’d leave is a long narrative story of his life. Oh god.
He doesn't look well here :-(
Now Trevor Peacocks died too. RIP Jim
You have not lived until you have seen the Vicar of Dibley cast singing Beyonce.
Adore this show. So many have passed on and all too soon
Love this series and watch it again every month.. we have lost too many wonderfull actors
Rest in peace Trevor Peacock.
R.I.P. Emma Chambers. An angel in Heaven has beguiling googly eyes.
Love the Vicar of Dibley!!! Miss it so much! Owen hasn't changed too much, but Hugo sure has.
Dawn is soooo pretty!!!!!!!!
Winner: Funniest joke here.
Yes she is!
I don’t know how Roger Lloyd Pack ever kept it together in this show with the crazy lines he had .
I felt the same during the Comic Relief special with Sting. Why would you even dream of flirting with another man (let alone think of divorce) when you are married to Richard Armitage?
No more Owen, Alice and Frank :'( May they rest in peace!
Ah, but we do still have Jim. Every time I hear Mrs Brown you've Got a lovely Daughter, think of him. He wrote it!
Marg Martin sadly, Trevor Peacock who portrayed Jim Trott has Alzheimer’s 😕
@@margmartin9280 Sadly suffering dementia
@@xr6lad Sadly he has passed away 💔
Sad to think 5 have gone 😢😢
So sad after the death of Gary Waldhorn that there are only two left now.
I did not know that they were making new episodes after 1999. It is a wonderful discovery!
Bring back vicar of dibley
TheSmithersy Why? They had a death in season 1 too and still continued.
Rob Lesauteur Roger Lloyd-Pack (Owen) and Emma Chambers (Alice; arguably the most important character after the vicar herself) are dead, unfortunately.
@@lionlyons bugger!
and a bit hard to do that now considering that Frank Pickle and Alice Tinker have "passed on" now
Half of the cast are dead, unfortunately.
"I'm dead? That explains it!" Damn I loved this show so much. Indeed missing the ones who passed on... especially Emma Chambers.
This was such an amazing show! 💟💟💟💟💟
had no idea there was new episode of Dibley. Vicar looks great, better than ever. Everyone else got old.
why does she even look at other men when she has Richard Armitage at home?
I want another season!
@Lee TV Yes. Have you seen RA though?
Married, not dead!
Amen!!!
Rewatching is so wonderful. Dawn French is a massive favourite!
Fantastic! But a shame there was no Alice… She was brilliant.
RIP Owen!
That's hilarious . Dawn French doesnt seem to change a bit . XD
I don't know any of the history or inside info. I just remember my husband and I enjoying the show. I haven't seen it in years and I have been enjoying the short films. Thank you Comic Relief. and Dawn French and cast.
R.I.P., dear Emma ❤️🥰
Hugo sure looks a lot older, I didn't recognize him at first.
Think he was only a few years younger than his "father".
@@margmartin9280 Yes, just 9 years between them
Eddie we loved this show and all that Brit com …keeping up appearances, are you being served etc
Love Jim Trott!!!
Just love this show! Can't believe they're all still alive and kicking and still so damn funny! Shame Alice not in it but still great..
8 years on from your comment and unfortunately most of them have kicked the bucket since then. :'(
- Roger Lloyd-Pack (Owen) sadly died less than a year after this 2013 special on 15 Jan 2014 at the age of 69, due to pancreatic cancer.
- Liz Smith (Letiticia from the first season) died 24 Dec 2016, aged 95.
- Emma Chambers (Alice) died on 21 Feb 2018 at the age of 53, due to a heart attack.
- John Bluthal died on 15 Nov 2018, aged 89.
- Trevor Peacock (Jim) was diagnosed with dementia in 2009 (4 years before this special) but was in the advanced stages of it by 2018, although. He did manage one more special in 2015 but died on 8 Mar 2021 at the age of 89.
- Gary Waldhorn (David) died earlier this year on 10 Jan 2022 at the age of 78.
James Fleet (Hugo) is 70 but is still alive and kicking for now. Dawn French isn't far behind at 64.
@The mysterious Miss X James? Yeah, he's getting on a bit.
When they sang Single Ladies hahaha
The guys have aged, but Dawn (Vicar) is looking so good!
Damien Lewis would make a great James Bond
Yes, he would indeed!
Ok...”Let’s just keep our peckers up.” Means something totally different in Texas. Bless her heart 😂🤪
Yeah it's a double entendre here too 😂
A Father Ted meets Rev. Granger sketch would have been awesome. Sadly, it is not to happen. ;(
Not with them having been made by different broadcasters, no
Also the fact that the actor of father ted is dead
Greatest show of all time.....
u never lived until u see these guys singing Cindy Lauper hahahhahaha
Beyonce
@@DeadlyPants123 Girls Just Want To Have Fun was performed and recorded by Cyndi Lauper.
07:50 lyrics of the song sung by the Hitler Youth during the beer garden scene in "Cabaret", in case you're wondering.
I love them all.💋
Loved VoD & Comic Strip Presents... and only found out recently that Jim no no no no no yes (Trevor Peacock) is Daniel Peacocks dad. I'm a bit slow, duh. RIP to all those greats, Roger, Emma, John 'Pickle' Bluthal, Liz etc. So sad.
We grew up watching this show along with Chef .
C'mon give it another series
No, no, no, no. Of all the people Vicar could’ve picked, it had to be Jim. Lol
They all look/sound so different. Time does that, hey?
i cant believe own died and i just found out now wow ,,, R I P OWEN
i need to get myself a TV, i never knew myself, till i read that....
R.I.P Owen
check on his wikipedia page rodger lloyd pack
Best comedy ever..........
Where in the world was Emma G. M. Chambers (or Honey bunny in "Knotting Hill")? It would have been really nice to see her in this reunion.
Jim is getting on a bit now, hopefully there will be more specials with Jim in.
Ginger is so tall.... was brilliant in BoB
R.I.P Trevor Peacock
They should bring back The Vicar of Dibley! It's so good :'(
This is too funny
Always in love with Harry 😍🥰
Love Damien Lewis.
They haven't lost their touch. The years just fell by. Now, why would they pick Jim, the °No, No, No, No, Yes" guy? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Geraldine was in a dilemma... Richard Armitage ...Damian Lewis??? 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for my ginge fix!
No problem
I miss the Vicar of Dibley
I love them singing in the bus.
And none of them wearing seat-belts! How did that get past the BBC Stasi Health & Safety?
Thay mast have so very fun to geder wheen thay in play every cen of curse 😂❤❤❤❤
Happy ester 🐣🐤🐥💐
Cute ending.
They did not make enough episodes as it was very funny i miss Tinkerbell Played by Emma may she rest in peace
shame there was no joke at the end with Alice..
Didn't the Alice character actress pass on in 2018? 📺🎬🌤️🌥️🌦️
@@blueskye6372 Emma Chambers is sadly no longer with us; however, at the time of this special she was still alive. Had other engagements I guess.
Miss alice I am like her b literal😄
It’s a shame most of these people are dead
Here in America you don't get anything but the dribble of Dibley trickled down in pieces from UA-cam, I WANT MY ViCAR of Dibley, and I want it NOW. Yes and the next thing you know you'll all be complaining about the American woman who sought dual citizenship in English just so she could go to England to watch good comedy
Wish someone would put the series on you tube…
Who wrote this show??,Will always reminds,of England, Dawn French, did this, just bringing out,the bestest of, England, our loved ones, bringing them to life,so innocent,so loveable,,no no no no no no yes, that's the biggest comment on vicar of Dibley, hugs fm New Zealand
must be a wiewed serial, famous actors there
funy!
Sending Jim Trott in to vote!
she's not the jolly fat vicar anymore!
I love the vicar she’s the best
Remember when Emma Watson appeared in that other comic relief special? they could use her as Geraldine Alice and Hugo's daughter
Great! Thanks! @#
where is the love of my life, Harry Kennedy, for god sake?????
Probably busy fighting orcs in Middle Earth.
Who'd have imagined that Damien Lewis' actress wife would die earlier this year of cancer at around age 40. Too sad....
She actually died last year aged 52.
They got Damien to do this!?
Ms. Tiscill, and why'd they pick Jim?-
Woah hugo :O
At 6:07 seconds I am thinking no no no no no no no no.
Has anybody noticed that she wears an inverted cross? Somebody must have deliberately designed it that way.
Mrs Tischel!
Yes! They should do a Doc Martin collaboration
So who's still alive?
oh no, please no!(( Richard is too good in many ways to be just another James Bond. or maybe to be just the best James Bond. whatever. please, Universe, we need him to play much more interesting characters.
RIP Trevor Peacock!
Not available in your country? Dafuq? It was filmed here.
That really annoys me ,😠
I'm dead?!
Lol im dead? That explains it!! Lol
I love this programme but the canned laughter is terrible
where's Alice and her Stephen Hawkin's brain ?
👏🏿👏🏾👏🏽👏🏼👏🏻🇦🇺
Doesn't Bradley look old..
When I first saw this I thought it was quite funny. But now I see Warner Brothers is producing it I will not watch it again I seen Johnny Depp in it, why are they using him and not willing to apologize to him for doing him wrong.
Why is the cross upside down?
It’s not upside down…it’s a square cross, both lines equal length. She always wore that one in the series.
🆒😎
Where's Alice?
Alice...💔
Well.... he's no Richard Armatige.
Cooler
I'llnever understand why theylt him in there. Never!
why is this so short?
It's a Comic Relief special for Children In Need. It's also the reason it's not that funny.
