Defund the BBC
If you are accepted for interview John, please make sure you have someone there recording footage of the full interview for your own records. This way if you are misrepresented by editing (whether accidentally or intentionally) you will have your full recording as backup in case of any legal conflict and as a way to "fact check" their misrepresentations.
I'd also try to make sure any negotiations over the arrangements of the interview be conducted by email so you have proof of what was agreed. Verbal agreements with media organizations count for nothing if you can't prove what was agreed later. You could even work in a condition that the interview will not be aired without you first being shown the final edit with an opportunity to address any misrepresentations before broadcast.
PS. I don't think I've ever commented on your vids before, but have watched for a while and you're doing excellent work. I have multiple friends and family who now watch your channel too. Would hate to see you fall into a cynical news media trap designed to harm you or what you're doing.

I have been watching John Campbell since March 2020 and he has literally has gotten me through this pandemic informatively and emotionally as well. He shows clearly his sources of information and adds his years of experience in the scientific method and standard common sense with clear and fair interpretations. He steers clear away from far too common sound bite drama which we can all lower ourselves into. The many facets of the whole truth cannot be summarized in a sound bite. So appreciate the in depth, well informed, and respectful temperament of this channel for contributing well over and above the messages pumped out my main stream media, big pharma, and the gigantic wheels of an entrenched system which just seems chaotic and ineffectual. It's weird, looking into the origins of this BBC behaviour, it appears there was a government department that was concerned that the public may be ambivalent about vaccines given the relatively low death rate in the young. It was clearly stated in policy documents that a certain hysteria and powerful messaging would be required to encourage vaccine uptake. ie lying their arse off, in the hope it would prevent deaths.

As an Immunologist who has watched you faithfully for the last two years, I too am utterly appalled at the comments made by the BBC. Is it just a co-incidence that this ‘attack’ on you comes only a day or two after you were calling out the Pharmaceutical Companies ( and Government) for not yet releasing the raw data on which they have been making decisions? I recently retired as an ethics professor who also had the role of “media expert” at my large U.S. university. For a reporter to claim to have contacted you when she did not is a breach of professional responsibility that throws her whole reporting into question.
The media does this all the time to anyone they want to smear and destroy the credibility of. They can do this because there are ZERO repercussions to their immoral and illegal actions. This needs to be scrutinized

a) the BBC didn't report the FOI request data on 17,500 COVID alone deaths and their age ranges, to accurately portray to the public what the risks of COVID death are/were for healthy people of different ages and
b) why she lied in her report about contacting you (unless she can present the evidence)

Ethics in western democratic journalism institutions died a long time ago. This applies to corporations and universities.
Let's not jump to conclusions. It's quite possible that there is another Dr John Campbell in the UK and the BBC contacted the wrong one (who didn't reply). It wouldn't be the first time the BBC got things wrong.

The UK government have spent nearly 400 billion dealing with "covid". In the course of all of this we have damaged the education of millions of children, left millions of elderly lonely people in a state of depression, many left to rot in care homes with the privilege of saying good bye to close family though zoom calls, tens of thousands of serious advese events and deaths from the jabs, closed down hundreds and thousands of small businesses who were simply in the wrong sector and have gone bust, and we did it all because we were told that this could be an event that would kill vast numbers of people. But this new revelation has really made people sit up and think and it's this. The Freedom of Information Request was put to the Office National Statistics and it simply asked this question: "PIease could advise on deaths purely from covid with no other underlying causes'. And the number 17,371. Now I know that's over 17 thousand human beings and each one of those is a tragedy... but just think about that number. Consider that nearly 1.5 milIion people die in this country on average every two years. We have been through two years of on off lockdowns, rights and privileges taken away, thousands of life saving surgeries cancelled, serious illnesses undiagnosed and we find out that only 17,371 people died of covid with no other underlying conditions.
As a retired lecturer in healthcare myself, I really appreciate the time and effort you put in to gathering, summarising and appraising the latest data. For the BBC to accuse you of spreading disinformation is ludicrous! If only their journalists had the same level of understanding of science and the same commitment to disseminating accurate information! I have submitted a complaint to the BBC. Sajid Javid and even the BBC and other mainstream sources are admitting that too “many” people were being included in the death counts who “would not have died of covid”. This is becoming common knowlege now. Elderly people who were in care homes and hospitals who were on deaths door for reasons they've always been in care homes; swabbed and tested rigorously and their deaths put down as "covid".

I believe that any wise person and any medical professional truly believe you are one of the best (if not the only one which I personally believe so) in educating the people about the pandemic when most of health professionals and institutes ignored the public and forced them to accept extreme unjustified measures.

Dr Campbell, as a Biochemist and a Catholic hospital chaplain, I have found your videos and model of scientific education as so refreshing and factual, that it had been an anchor of truth in an anxious world. At the beginning of the pandemic I watched BBC updates and interviews and got so depressed at the lack of clarity they portrayed. I am an advocate of all that the scientists have tried to convey, and often have shared it on social media so that many could have a clearer understanding of the course of the pandemic and the public’s need to take the relevant precautions necessary to reduce the possible suffering that can ensue.
Lately, I have found that the BBC have lost their sense of unbiased covering of the facts, even to the point of their own agenda. Their methods of interviewing and reporting seemed more about their own self-importance than the facts as they are. It’s so refreshing to have another source of information more impartial to rely on, and the fact that you try to report the truth says more about the strength of speaking truth to power more honestly than anyone else I’ve witnessed. 1. China has 10 plants making 'the non patented pill dubbed equestrian deworm'n stuff.
2. That country's case counts became exponential but around mid February 2020 stopped and crashed sharp line to bottom before vaccines.
3. An Aussie lab around then found the pill worked in piti dish tests.
No mention of its use in China. No vaccines so had to have used what they have tons of.

If he was humble he would have issued a formal correction after his ivermectin misinformation video where he misread one of the studies from end to end and then advocated on that misinterpretation. He's also spread claims that not aspirating is why there is myocarditis in specific ages yet all ages are not aspirated so why wouldn't there be myocarditis in the other age groups? And characterizing the figures that only list covid as the cause of deaf as being remotely accurate was the final straw. Everyone knows you would never exclude certificates with more than one cause of deaf because the virus creates new comorbidities that are listed on the certificate but would be excluded from the freedom of information request since it was limited to only one cause. The public broadcast and all of MSM is the same abysmal level of hatred, lies and ignorance nearly everywhere in the West. They never look at the data (they are either too incompetent or too narcissistic to accept different views... probably both) and spew hatred, lies and division everywhere. They mainly just want to show people who claim there was only 17k covid deaths in UK are factually incorrect (which is the truth)... even John said this but he didn't say it in that video, so it can be used for misinformation. John should have been more clear in the video he was criticised in how devastating comorbidities are with covid then BBC wouldn't have a leg to stand on to go after how he laid out the information.

I've been unimpressed with the BBC for several years and I stopped listening to them completely about 6 months ago when I realised they were giving out biased data and not the full facts. Channels like yours who show the origin of data as well as explaining how to understand it are a breath of fresh air. My interpretation of the BBC article is that they feel people are not trusting their data and perhaps have been quoting your channel to them. Your explanations are very clear and as someone who didn't get further than O levels in education I understand all but the very technical details. I would also like to say that you have a very pleasant screen presence and manner. Long may you continue to provide us with full facts.
You stopped watching the bbc but I guess you're still forced to pay them a licence fee! They do not represent all the people but take money from all the people. They should be transparent & factual; not as you say - biased. Some of us are offended at the propaganda the bbc engages in and we're paying for it. No word from them about whistleblower re Pfizer's unsafe stage 3 trial. Or about research proving effectiveness or naturally acquired immunity.
@@JosJo. Yes, we still have to pay the licence fee but if my husband didn't want to watch certain programs on the television I wouldn't have a television at all. I grew up believing the BBC to be the best most reliable source of information, however, they are biased by omission and also by giving either percentages or figures whichever is the most dramatic. Also comparisons are only given when it strengthens their narrative.

The MainStreamMedia is losing grip on its' audiences and therefor advertisers and funding. MSM are at a last stand with modern media like youtube. We've been seeing it happening in the US for a few years and has been making its way to Europe for a while now. This is not necessarily a good thing as most of the major modern media platforms are private businesses that can do whatever they want, including censorship, which they have and will continue to do for their interest.
The BBC can (and will, depending on interests and any ties to politics) provide just as much fake news as any less "reputable" news broadcaster.
The masses are waking up. The truth is crystal clear right now for many of them.

The UK government have spent nearly 400 billion dealing with "covid". In the course of all of this we have damaged the education of millions of children, left millions of elderly lonely people in a state of depression, many left to rot in care homes with the privilege of saying good bye to close family though zoom calls, tens of thousands of serious advese events and deaths from the jabs, closed down hundreds and thousands of small businesses who were simply in the wrong sector and have gone bust, and we did it all because we were told that this could be an event that would kill vast numbers of people. But this new revelation has really made people sit up and think and it's this. The Freedom of Information Request was put to the Office National Statistics and it simply asked this question: "PIease could advise on deaths purely from covid with no other underlying causes'. And the number 17,371. Now I know that's over 17 thousand human beings and each one of those is a tragedy... but just think about that number. Consider that nearly 1.5 milIion people die in this country on average every two years. We have been through two years of on off lockdowns, rights and privileges taken away, thousands of life saving surgeries cancelled, serious illnesses undiagnosed and we find out that only 17,371 people died of covid with no other underlying conditions.
In Norway, the coof deaths was on par with the previous flu-seasons, which prompted the government to lift all restrictions.
Only after the jab rollout did the average population mortality increase.

I felt the pains Dr Campbell recounted on losing patients under his care. I teared up listening to that. My husband is a doctor and he also remembers every patient he lost ever since he started practicing. How dare BBC tried to smear his integrity. Absolutely sickening.

I've seen a newspaper I worked for repeat an urban myth over and over again as new news. There is this urban myth in the Netherlands that a girl got sick from eating Shoarma, and they emptied her stomach and found 8 different dna strains of sperm. This urban myth has been circulating I think since the 70's as a joke, and it was published at least 2 times on the biggest news outlet in the Netherlands.
Oh my god, I did a google on that story and it went viral internationally. A joke from the 70's. Oh my god, they believed it really happened in 1993.
To be clear: there are real reporters doing real work. But a lot of stories these days need click bait. Nobody pays the salaries of real reporters these days.
And the BBC is a company needing money.
Dr Campbell - I echo the voices of thousands of people and want to thank you for your calm, factual, well-explained teaching. I don't know how I would be coping if I hadn't found your channel. I tell everyone I know about you because you are the only source of information I trust and understand. I have long since lost all faith in the BBC, and as a former reporter and editor myself (not at the Beeb though), I have also tried to contact them to correct them on errors in their reporting. They are not interested. It seems they are not concerned with unbiased reporting these days. What they said about you in their fish-and-chip-wrap article is disgusting. I could feel your emotion when you were remembering your patients who had died and it made me want to cry. Not only do none of us here doubt that obviously you care about death and suffering, but also you are SAVING millions of us from spiralling into depression and worse. How do we ever reply you? Many here have said you deserve an OBE - well I think we should set about making sure you get one. You are the only calm and logical voice reporting the facts amidst a barrage of biased crap!
