Brings back a lot of memories. Back in the 70's I was a master Porsche Tech. Working and driving the 911's especial the "S" models was thrilling. Now working on them is a bit tough for me but driving them and watching them I can do forever.

what an interesting sound character. Different than the 991.2 . The 991.2 climbed to 8k and then suddenly had this more visceral mechanical growl to 9k rpm. The new 992 has this high pitched howl all the way 8k and then right after quiets down and becomes much more sedate and natural

Porsche has been on a roll for about 10 years now. The cars are dialed in, they are strategically rolling out electrification in a way that allows for acclimatization while also acknowledging their heritage and customer’s desires. This company is a model for how to progress and evolve over time. Based on the 911’s consistent design, I would say “evolution” is in the company’s DNA. Bravo Porsche, keep it up!
