My cayenne has the same stupid system. When you change oil you have to drive it more than 100km for the digital oil level thing to update... So you have no clue if it's enough oil in it or not.. There no physical dipstick.. Maybe the dealer has one but it does not come with the car... Stupidest system I've seen..
@@jorgetomas3983not really true, it's up to the driver to let the car warm up to its operating temp in order for that not to happen, that's the whole point 😂
Preferably use the oil for this engine, the c40 gt, red bottle. When you buy a 250k car you might want to pay the dollar extra for the quart of quality oil
His reasoning from what I would think is people paying mechanics 75$-150$ for them to just do this in less then 5 minutes if even that takes maximum of 45 seconds to pour 1 minute to check the oil through a dip stick or like newer cars it will tell u
You should actually only ever add half of what it suggests on the screen. The tolerance for going over is extremely low and if you get a message that there is then too much oil, you must bring it to the dealership and they need to flush it.
@@joeshmuckatelli4447 buddy I have a 1996 Toyota Cressida i always drive hard on her, I even redline in cold start. In those 28 years not a single part failed me. Back when cars were built to last that’s why Toyota discontinued it.
Amount of people commenting on how does it burn oil, it's $250k car bla bla. No it's not a family SUV making 200hp from a 5 liter V8, most cars actually burn a bit even new, check your manuals or Google it simply. Yours just probably has worn rings so it pushes bit of fuel down that's why it seems it's all there when you check.
And just add the oil emoji rolling on the floor laughing.

"Emoji rolling on the floor laughing" 🤣
Imagine your electronic dip stick breaks and you can't see how much oil you have anymore 💀
Couldn’t be me
Then you use a real dipstick until service, problem solved.

@@teabaggins3517 that's odd. Usually you need to drive about 15 minutes to start measuring the oil level
the real question is why TF is that brand new GT3 losing oil??
My question exactly! Who spends $250000 to add oil
Common
Yah kinda weird its like saying the car burn oil which is not good
Race engine. In city it doesn't get to temp, so the rings don't expande the way they should
@@jorgetomas3983not really true, it's up to the driver to let the car warm up to its operating temp in order for that not to happen, that's the whole point 😂
revving it straight after starting it up hurts my soul
only 3-4k rpm nothing will happen
It literally has to be up to temp for the car to even read the oil level. It's fine
it's up to temp, you can just about see the gauge being over 150f on the right.
May not be a cold start
No engine on Earth is gonna be expolded with 1qt less engine oil inside it
"Oh crap I accidentally flexed my car again"
If my car talks to me that means it’s already dying 😅
😂😂😂😂
My S2000 needs about 200ml every 1000 kms. I change oil every 5000 kms
Cat
Why TF you’d your oil level be low unless it’s leaking or eating it???
because das auto 😂
It's a Porsche. There's a good chance it's doing both.
Porsches burn oil when you start them up. A lot if it.
Because anything made by the V.A.G group is junk.
My cayenne V8 4.2L turbodiesel doesn't use a sip of oil. 30000km, oil level still topped up max.
When ''YOUR'' GT3 is low on oil sounded so good
New Porsche needing oil between changes? Yikes!
Are you stupid? Every car needs oil sometimes
Thats normal
@@iRxyanDestinygtaandmoreLLOL okay...
Look at the service manual, basically every turbocharged direct injection engine is going to consume oil. Plus it’s a VW, they do that.
Probably drives it like a spanner
Adding this to tutorials on how to fix problems ill never have!
Its that easy "emoji rolling on the floor laughing"
As someone who knows that the oil doesn't just dissapear, change the old oil and oil filter too please, you don't want metal shavings in your engine
Finally, a video with the correct use of the word POV.
But then it ruins it by saying it like it’s a word lol
@@conor7154 well, correct.
Alright buddy no need to rub it in the car beautiful the simplicity even more beautiful
Yeah, I hate it when that happens😂😂😂
As a person who has to work with various cars after they sat/were crashed, i absolutely hate electric buttons to pop the hood... Just adds extra work
It’s crazy that even the oil level is now measured by the ecu. If the computer fails, good luck.

If your Porsche is burning oil that’s a byproduct from not taking care of it properly while beating on it
never heard such bs, its completly normal for these engines to burn a bit of oil

"And just adjust the oil *proceeds to describe the emoji used in DETAIL* "

Never trust digital oil level. Check with the dipstick. If it hasn't one, get one, the hole for it is still there for service
Damn, gotta flex that ownership of your Porsche.
whole floor now covered in oil after following, hopefully the gt3 comes soon
So much work. Just cancelled my gt3 order. Buying a bicycle.
