Bassist typically don't get enough credit. You need a good bassist with her voice. She hits the higher notes well and needs the deep notes to balance it out. They have done a very nice job as a band. Major credit to them, great song. Definitely a track the needs to he on repeat.

While I get what you’re saying, and the tops hits radio certainly isn’t packed full of talent, I would argue there’s an immense amount of talent out nowadays. Surely more than ever before with the population increase, technological advancements, digital age leading to freedom of information/learning/skills, and all of the various outlets for creatives that have never existed before. I fancy myself rather picky when considering artists talent and depth, listen to all genres, and I’d say I find on average one or two new artists each week that are genuinely talented and bringing something new to the world. Never a better time to be a connoisseur of music, I dare say.
