Great video! I’ve been considering purchasing a couple Wolverine claws. It’s 20’percent off right now (of course at Target) but will probably see if it goes cheaper during Black Friday.
Thanks! I remember a lot of the Target exclusives saw really good discounts on Black Friday and throughout December last year so I’m optimistic but no way to know for sure
I just don't understand "Investing" in Lego, especially if you are a lego fan. There will be a lot of people who want those sets and they won't be able to get them because they've been bought by people who don't want them. Let's call it what it is... "Scalping".
Thanks for your comment, but I respectfully disagree. Investors make it possible for the people who want the sets to get them after the LEGO Group stops producing them. If there were no resellers and a fan missed a set while it was on shelves, there’d be no way for them to get the set they want
@TheHubbardl I would respectfully disagree. If I had, let's say a Star Wars Tie fighter helmet and I put it on ebay for £250 that would make me a dirty scalper. If I put it on ebay with a starting bid of £1 and it was genuinely bid up to £250 by people who want it, that would be an entirely different matter. How many people who buy them to sell at a later date will ask for an inflated price, and how many will let that set find it's own value? Economics 101 - something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it, and what they want to pay depends upon how much they want THAT particular item. Let's go back to the Tie Fighter helmet... How many are for sale at stupid prices? They are for sale and not been sold because, well, scalpers. BTW I beat them by downloading the instructions and buying the bricks from traders. It cost me £40 or so...
@@TheHubbardl I would respectfully disagree... If you have a retired set, let's say a Star Wars Tie Fighter helmet that you paid £60 for, and you put it on Ebay for £250 that is Scalping. If you put it on Ebay as an auction with a £1 starting bid and it gets bid up to a stupid price by people who WANT it then that is a different matter. Are "Investors" going to let old sets find their own value? Or simply try and make money by asking silly prices?
I just ordered the Jazz Quartet today! I'll fight the urge to build it right away once it arrives. 😂
