This is a great lesson and you're a great teacher. I learned to play this song fairly quickly and I'm now playing along to the song. I have pretty much everything down except for the solo but I'm getting it. I know he finger picks the solo but I found it much easier to play the whole solo using my pick instead since I'm not very good at finger picking. Also I thought I would have trouble with the bass line he does in the chorus but it's actually really easy. Thank you for helping me learn one of my favorite songs.

Nice lesson as usual. As a bit of a cheat on the bass run, I barre the A&D at the second fret for an E5 with my first finger and mute the GBE above. This leaves 2nd & 4th fingers free for a much easier bass run. It's not a full chord but I think this is better than missing the bass run out. I can do it your way too but playing live, easier is safer ;-).
Since i was 8 , I wished to play this song. But I can't play this song exactly ( specially solo ) . I played A major instead of A suspended, and i made lot of mistake in chorus I used to play with E, A, B X2... C#m, A, B, E....F#m, A, B, E...., But i found accuracy on yours... really it helped me a lot... Thank you for this video lesson. And it would be grateful if you made another video on Mr Big Wild world, recently i searched its tutoral video on UA-cam but im not totally satisfied.

If you watch the music videos he actually has his pick in his hand but hides it for the solo. He plucks the crap out of strings but isn't hybrid picking. Sick video though, thanks for teaching the song!

Hey man, awesome tutorial. I'm having trouble with the hammer on and double pull of in the solo. I can't get the sound to ring through after the hammer and first pull of, it just kinda mutes the string. Any advice?
Hey alpha....it helps to play it super slow and at the very last pull of be sure to pull it of hard and asertively!!...even if the notes in the middle of the hammer on pull off section are muffled the last pull off should ring out clear by rights because it pulled off to an open string. Left hand will be clear of the fret board
i love tutorials like this but no one ever explains the chords, like idk what an e is so i had to stop and go figure it out 😭 i wish it was in the videos like the first one

I play that moving bassline with my second finger and pinky, after playing the Emaj. It's fairly easy to do it that way.
