In 1985 I was 14 and heard an acquaintance and his friend playing Over The Mountain in his garage as I was riding past his house on my very cool Hutch Pro Racer. I stopped and watched until they wrapped. 2 weeks later I had my first Charvel. I was obsessed. Tabs came from magazines or books at music stores. I can't imagine what having this available would have been like. Pay phones, pagers, and very little tabs vs cell phones and AdTube.
Picking up the guitar in my 60s once again, after 4 or 5 decades. Watching you play alongside tab makes it easier than hell to figure out a great little riff. Well done man.
This solo consists mainly of triads which Mr. Gilbert arranged beautifully. I dig the way you plucked the Low E string 🎸 at the end of section 2. Good way to get someone's attention Holy 💩 LOL 😆 Sounds very relaxing n played beautifully on your part ,You the man. ROCK ON ! P.S. just throwing this out there My Sharona by The Knack has a great guitar solo. Wonder if you thought of doing a lesson on that. Haven't seen it done.
Hey bro, didn't Eddie do a couple of the solos on some of the Michael Jackson songs? If so, have you thought about breaking those down for us. Didn't he do Billie Jean or thriller?
