Fair criticism. I beat on mine daily, so I like the lightweight , grippy handle. I don't see it as a collector / fidgeter. The large blade with Emerson opener makes it a fearsome defensive tool (and great utility)
Never owned a wave but I do appreciate my 4 with full serration edge . I see your point and plastic isn’t the best but does function well for general usage .
Yeah, I see your point. FRN is basically plastic. I like my Salt-2 and Delica 4 in ZDP. I don't 'hard use' them so the handle material is adequate. My 'beater(?)' knives that I use and abuse have either wood, micarta or a polymer like on the BK2.

Yeah. FRN is great for general use, but it doesn’t have a luxury feel, which makes it great for a user but not as good for the collector or fidgeter.
@@TripleEEDC I hear ya brother. Ti or a rich wood or unique Micarta are durable, yet aesthetic compared to frn.
Also maybe add your trading pages for us all too know 😉
